Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken — Restaurant in Tinley Park

Updated Thursday, 12/22 Last 3 visits, no Cream Cheese Danish donuts, which, imo are the most delicious things ever. C'mon yall! Those things are like addictive. 3 until next time.

Saturday 7/30. We spent the extra money. 6 donuts and a small coffee was just under $19. We got 2 raspberry bullseye, 2 cream cheese Danish, blueberry crumb and regular glazed. All I can say is this time, nothing is getting tossed. Ilove the screen out by the drive thru that shows what they have available. Nice touch. Today, these damn donuts are 5🌟 donuts. Do-Rite was oh so right today. I'm questioning the debit card surcharge and gratuity option for handing a box of donuts out the window. I wouldn't tip at McDonalds and this is the same concept, right? Still, the young lady at the window was extremely pleasant and seemed to be happy to be at work. My coffee was great. We will be back and Do-Rite gets 4.5🌟 today so I rounded up to 5.

Do-Rite, and don't get the dealer's choice (cheaper ½ dozen) unless you're an old fashioned donut kinda person. I ended up with 5 donuts that no one was interested in. I worked there for a little over 4 months and it was the worst job I've ever had. I had good insights so here's my review. 🗑️🚮

The management there was so bad. I personally saw with my own eyes one of the managers stick their whole arm into an iced coffee mixing machine to unjam it and serve it to a customer as if nothing happened. Often times customers would return the food with complaints about uncooked or raw meat. 🤢

I genuinely felt sorrow for my coworkers under their management. All of the uniforms were triple XL, everytime someone had a discount code (police or fire) we would have to run to find a manager because they didn't trust us with our own.

Our cook/assistant manager would often go to the bathroom and not tell anyone while orders were stacking up. She had a selfie of herself as a lock screen, I don't think it gets any more pretentious than that. I only know this because their version of work was to facetime people on the iphone with apple air pods in xD

At least that always made me laugh.

It's in the name! Do-rite! And indeed they do right! Maybe not to the waistline but seriously, everything in moderation right...do rite!

We have gone to the original location years ago and have loved their donuts ever since. Sorry Dunkin but there is really no turning back once you have these donuts. When I tell you it doesn't matter that you may not have a blueberry donut in your top 3 favs, once you have to try the blueberry crumb. It will win you over in one bite.

The classic chocolate frosted old-fashioned reminds me of being a kid, nibbling around the outside for the crisp bits with that real chocolate, not the thick coating that you get with others.
