Mr. Stacks Tinley Park — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I placed a pickup order from Stacks in Tinley Park this morning. The items that I ordered were shown on the menu at 9.99 each. I placed the order for two. Ater I pocked up my order and got home I noticed the price was different. I was charged 29.98 for the items I actually ordered. I called the facility and after being transferred twice I finally got a manager. I explained what happened and she told me to bring the menu and my receipt back to the facility. When I got there she took the menu from me ad tod the cashier st the register that "I was given a wrong menu, that menu was for take out orders only" and she put the menu under the counter by the cashier that was working. When zi asked her what was she going to do about the overcharge her response was" you were given the wrong menu and said she was sorry" .My question is....why are different price menus give out in error my fault??? Sge judy walked away! Seriously, Stacks is a lucrative restaurant and I feel that situation shpuld have been taken care of properly! Customer of Stacks beware of upcharges on your receipts before paying! Evidently and proven different pricing and menus with different pricing are acceptable to Stacks! I will never recommend them because if their pricing scandal! I have ordered their before and their food has always been good but now when it was proven to me on how they operate, i will never recommed them again!

So we were seated right away and we waited for quite some time before anyone said anything to us. The woman who was supposed to be our waitress was walking by said I'll be with you in a minute. She didn't come to our table And greet us. She said this in passing very quickly and nonchalantly. She didn't even apologize. So then she continued to serve other people in a different section of the restaurant. We waited for an additional 15 minutes and she never came back and said anything or followed up, another waitress named Evlyn noticed we has been sitting there for quite some time. She came up to our table and acknowledged that she noticed we had been waiting for a while. Asked if we had had help. She proceeded to take our drink orders and said she would be happy to help us. She walked away and it seemed that her and the original person who was supposed to service us were in the bit of a conversation about who was going to wait on us. I told Evelyn that it was not her fault that the other waitress had not served us yet even though she was mad at her. Evlyn did a wonderful job taking our order, making sure we were okay. She also alerted the manager of the situation and the manager sincerely apologized. The food was really good. Evlyn was great. We will definitely ask for her in the future. We would definitely go back. Forgot to mention that I ordered the blueberry pancakes eggs and sausage with hash browns. My husband had a omelette can't remember what kind but it was...

Breakfast and the service were both outstanding. I was in town for a weekend event, noticed this place, and wanted to try it out. Ended up going all 3 days I was in town for breakfast. I kept getting the Meat Lovers Omelette with pancakes. I would also get one of their LARGE pancakes as an extra. The ones that come with the Omelette are still big but not as big when you get one of their Stack meals. Great taste and quantity for the price. They are able to make the pancakes really big without having to make them too thick to enjoy.

Despite how busy they get, service is still pretty quick. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They did a good job keeping the place clean despite the constant flow of people coming in and out.

Favorite waitress was Brandy (not sure of spelling). She was the definition of quality customer service.

I don't know when I will be back in town again but, I will make certain I go the distance to get breakfast from here. I will also make sure I order the French toast next time. One of the people that came with me ordered it and I was impressed with the size of the 4 full slices of brioche bread. She gave the meal high praise too. I wish this was a national chain with a...
