Finally after 10 days my money has been credited to my bank card. I am updating the review as I said I would. Minus 1 star for bad attitude.

To the manager, Burke, you mentioned that I was not the only one that was double billed. If I were manager I would have taken the faulty machines out of service immediately instead of risking bad ratings from customers. The dollar amount is not the issue. You should not talk down to customers for standing up for their money.

Perhaps taking responsibility for the mishap instead of trying to make the customer feel helpless would go a long way towards customer loyalty.

1st REVIEW UPDATE:

Beware of being double billed. Check your bank or credit card. Some customers having this bad experience and you will get the run around about being refunded for it. Even when the business is made aware, the customer has to pay for it through multiple phone calls and multiple trips seeking resolution. Not a good experience. Reducing my rating to 1 star until this issue is resolved to my full satisfaction. Going forward I will be paying with cash.

This was the first visit to Pops. It was our small group that chose it for lunch. It was Weeny Wednesday so I had 2 hot dogs which included fries. Beef hotdogs are always good. The thin fries were crisp and salted just right. Delicious for fast food.

Although this location was small, it was clean and comfortable. Parking was available which made it an overall pleasant experience. I just might give then another try, especially after my last experience with Nicky’s...

Was here yesterday for Lunch 09/25/2024. Let me start by saying the owners of this franchise are nice and are an asset to Tinley Park. i really want to like this Pops! Unfortunately, my experience yesterday mirrors visits I've had the last 90 days.

First, the hot dog. ordered with everything and sports peppers. The pics show these were not sports peppers. I think they were pickled Serrano that tasted nasty like the tin can they came in. The bun has no poppy seeds and was hard as a rock. The dog itself was a skinless, limp, luke warm, and tasteless dog. The dog had too much mustard, a small blob of relish, hardly any onions, no celery salt and no sports peppers. All in all this was an awful Chicago dog

As for the beef, my standard order: Hot, sweet, and wet. First it was DRY and the beef was stringy with little or no taste. The Pops Giandinara had few jalapenos, mostly celery and was not hot at all. The franchise owner needs to review the video on Channel 9 to see how it's supposed to be made. This was not worth the upcharge for hot giard. As for the one small sliver of sweet pepper, enough said, Huge ripoff due to the upcharge for sweet.

Pops has never been known for their hot dogs and is known for their beef and hot giard. Yesterday was a horrible experience. Would have brought back, but, I took it to go and just couldnt get back. My advice is to drive a little farther to the original...

This is my favorite location!!! ☺️ Literally, they're killin portillos. I love the Italian beef from here. If u put pops beef next to portillos beef you'd def agree that pops is better on taste, quantity n quality. Everyone there is so polite n friendly n have never messed my orders up cuz they listen to you order n don't rush you. Amazing atmosphere. I'ma slow eater, so I'm sometimes there for a hour eating n scrolling my phone. They are always amazing n attentive to whatever you might need. Anyways I'd give em more than five stars if I could!!! I drive from Merrillville Indiana just to come here. Weekly lol 🤣 frfr. They never disappoint me n I'm a picky eater. N it may sound crazy but their fountain drinks are actually amazing. Iono what they do .. but it's always super fresh n perfectly carbonated. N it's the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in. I love everything about this place. Hands down THE BEST OF THE BEST 😁 n if your from out of town... You don't...
