Today 12 family members and I went to celebrate 2 family members birthday. Was looking forward to it all week. We orders placed and we told them 3 separates bills. While waiting to be seated someone go to get 3 drinks from the bar 15 dollars a piece with tax $50. Once seated started cooking. Orders mixed up which was no major. But one of the members had a food allergy to shrimp, it was indicated to the order taker. But the cook didn’t know nor asked, first issue. The cook tells us she should have told him. If already indicated I can do seafood when orders taken, but was. Then my daughter order another martini they charged 2 more on the than she paid for the first drink. Then steaks was ordered let the cook know they was done enough and took them off anyway. Grandson bit into and blood running out. Manager comes my daughter talks to her Genevieve beyond rude and most definitely not managerial material. I thought when she first started talking she was going to do the right thing. She have her staff yo take the plates with steaks in the kitchen to redo which the problem finish cooking what they didn’t finish in the first place. By this time half family got food and others not. So that ruined the birthday celebration. Then she come up with she will take 10% off. When they automatically put 18% gratuity on everyone bill. I question the manager how is this same drink being charged more than the 1st one and she said I did you a favor charging you the $15. Sitting listening to other families there getting the birthday song by the staff, none of that happened because of the poor services, uncooked food and ignorance. This will be the last time that my family and I come back to this restaurant. It was one more receipt of almost $300.00, I can’t find it too mad I guess. This has been an unbelievable experience but for you to be a manager and tell me you was doing me a favor by charging 15 a piece for those 3 and then 17 for that one.

I gave the food a 2 star because it was edible, but I've definitely had better. To start, they seated us right in front of this fan, we had to turn the fan around. Then when we ordered, we tried to get a kids hibachi shrimp (to share between pur kids cause our 3 yr old just picks off everyones plate) but the lady argued with us about how tiny it was and that kids plates were not sharable, policy I guess. So we upgraded to the adult hibachi. Which the shrimp was so over cooked it bent the fork I used to cut the pieces in half. Charged us 5 dollars for an extra plate AND we paid 10 dollars more for WAY more food than we needed. Whatever though. Anyway, I ask what's in their mixed veggies, the lady wasn't really sure and instead of confirming she just made up stuff. Never mentioned bell peppers(which btw consumes the veggie plate). So our food starts to be cooked, my veggies were barely on the grill and he's slapping them on my plate, like what...my broccoli was hard, still raw. Some of the onion was still raw too. They totally disregarded the fact we had children with us, I had to ask for a kids cup and she only brought me one.(I had a 3 yr old with me, they really expected her to drink out of a regular cup). The food was bland. I smothered mine in yum yum sauce because of the lack of flavor. It took forever for any request. We asked for to go boxes and the check, took me 20 mins to pay, get boxes and a bag. The audacity to take a 18% gratuity and then ask for more on my receipt...smh. For 4 hibachi meals. It cost us 150 bucks. Ridiculous. Also, I suggest giving more fried rice if you are gonna force your customers to pay 3 bucks for it. We won't be back though. FYI the salad comes with ranch on it 🤯 worst hibachi place I've ever been to.

Went there on my own to try the steak. I was seated by myself at a habachi grill table. I asked if I could just order off of the menu without the show and was told that I couldn't since that is where the steak is cooked 😑. I then asked for a sashimi, sushi combination platter with potstickers. The waitress said that I was seated in the wrong section of the restaurant and politely led me to a smaller room where the sushi is made. The sushi and potstickers were made fresh and we're all delicious. The hot sake was good as well. Everyone was very polite and courteous except for the young kids working reception. They barely acknowledge you and are not well mannered. As I was being led to the sushi area, one the kids was walking toward the aisle so I stopped to let her pass, and all she did was stop, waved me to pass and said "go". Other than that, I believe this is a very good restaurant. The management should consider training the reception staff as they are doing the restaurant a disservice.

I went to the establishment yesterday to place a to - go order, in person. I didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes for my food.

However, due to the very nasty, rude, and unprofessional behavior and attitude of the lady worker at the podium, I walked out, and spent my money elsewhere.

Upon entry, there are 2 registers to the left. A customer and 1 cashier were there. Directly in the center, upon entry, is a podium. Another lady was there, holding a phone to her ear. I was looking around to see where to place my order, since there wasn’t another worker to take my order.

I looked over to the lady at the podium, and she held her arm out and “directed” me to go to her right, (the registers), as if this was her 10th time telling me to go over there. The Energy and attitude were bad. Awful. Unprofessional.

She then asks if it’s a pickup or to go. I said to go, and I had to place my order. She rolled her eyes, huffed heavily, hung up her phone, disgustedly walked to the other register, and asked what I wanted. The attitude was as if I was inconveniencing her, and she didn’t want to take the order but “had” to.

I’m a very understanding person and “hold space” for people having bad days, etc. However, a bad day doesn’t mean treat people in a disrespectful, rude way.

Her attitude and behavior was so contemptuous that I asked, “you good?” She literally said “yessssss!” as she was sliding a card on the register.

Because the response was so unprofessional and I wanted to see if my food would potentially be tampered with, I said, “you sure?”

She said, “YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!” I said, “never mind. Don’t worry about it,” and walked out. Whenever a food service worker has THIS type of Energy and attitude, your food is NOT safe. Expect stomach and food problems. It’s not worth the risk of eating and becoming sick.

Not only was this attitude unnecessary and unprofessional, it’s not a way to gain or keep any customer. Some businesses don’t care; it’s their right. However, none of the businesses I support EXPECTS or tolerate their workers treating customers that way, or costing them business, or repeat business.

I understand family businesses have more lenient standards when it comes to providing Service, so certain behaviors may be tolerated and excused. However, that’s NO way to treat anyone, let alone people who CHOOSE to support your business.

I’ve been a customer here for over 3 years, and used to visit them weekly and monthly, and order the chicken teriyaki hibachi “meal.” (It’s like $30+). I’d drive 45 minutes - 1 hour for the food.

Anyway, I stopped going every week, and month, due to the poor customer service. Also, and habitually, they’d charge me for the teriyaki sauce, but never give it to me. The chicken doesn’t taste good without it.

To avoid my food being tampered with on my next visit, I just stopped going. I hadn’t been in at least 4 - 6 months, maybe more.

The attitude and behavior were...

Unfortunately this restaurant service is no longer top tier. The food doesn’t taste the same. It taste like cheaper ingredients are being used. The waitress that was assisting us has a smart mouth. we unfortunately we had an emergency and I simply ask for the check and she kept talking over me, rolling her eyes. “Um excuse me I said emergency” didn’t yell I didn’t get up and walk out I just ask for some help!! In paying faster. We had already the desert bc of the emergency. She was very rude insensitive and smart mouth then had the nerve to say I was rushing them. She was our waitress helper she was t the one taking the orders. so someone else redirected me to the front were we could cash out and leave! If a customer approaching me and says I have an emergency I’m not gonna twist my face up like it’s not my problem or like I could care less so what! I was very discreet and low key!!! You can tell she’s use to being rude to certain customers, she seem to have a dislike for woman that look like me!! Her action shows she thinks they’ll be no consequence! Well our military dollars won’t be back and we’ve been going there for years. I will redirect anyone that ask me about that location and discourage my family and friends from eating there. The parking lot was already almost empty there notoriety is declining possibly bc of the way there being allowed to treat there customers. When did frequent that location it was always 85% African Americans in there and it seems that’s who there being rude too! Their also taking advantage of large parties and trying to get more money on top of the already inflated prices. Less food more money bad service and Now there’s 18% gratuity whether they do a good job or not! There charging for xtra sauce the rice was gummy! The water and drink were disgusting even the sugar was old and sat in the glass like hard powder sugar and wouldn’t desolve like it was extremely old. I’m just disgusted. It was Pretty sickening. On top of the service being bad. Before we even left my stomach was hurting from the grease. Again we won’t be back bc theirs so many other great restaurants we can visit. We frequent at least 4-6 restaurants a month and promote them on our social media. Trust this will never be one. Places like this always start off good get comfortable then start mistreating the majority of ppl that frequent there business. Good luck with disrespecting...

I've spent maybe a couple thousand bucks over the past few years at this establishment. I've brought people here on dates and it's become my quick getaway from my own kitchen. I've recently had a few bad experiences but overlooked them because this was my favorite restaurant. But I had a horrible experience on my last visit here which was on 4/10 that I just can't look past. I had a VERY long, frail piece of brown hair that wrapped around my glass and went through my straw. I only noticed it because as I drank from my straw I noticed something in my mouth that didn't belong there. I proceeded to show my waitress and she resplied "Ew, why is it like that, I'll go get you another one". She herself expressed disgust in her reaction. She brings me another cup of water along with the bill. I sat there, conflicted, wondering if I should talk to a manager about what I had just experienced because that incident had me scouting my food for hair as I wondered how long my drink of water had been seasoned with hair. I feel grossed out thinking about it. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager comes over, inspects the glass and I show her the hair. The hair falls because it was weighed down by water as she picks the straw out of the glass and the manager tells me she doesn't see it, that maybe the hair was wrapped around the glass, which is still gross even if that was the case. She then tells me that my waitress's hair is pulled back, which I know. She says she doesn't see any hair. I tell her ask your worker about it because I clearly showed it to her and she said she'd get me another cup of water. The manager just says sorry and that was that. The waitress comes back and I told her "You told the manager that there was no hair" and she resplied "Im sorry, I don't know how it got there, I don't know how that happened". She made me look like I was a liar to her manager which disgusted me even more than the hair that was in my mouth. I'm highly pissed that nothing was resolved. I spent $58 on my meal and didn't fully enjoy it because of this hair in my water and mouth incident and then made to look like a liar by someone who tried to save their own butt. I won't be going back to this place and I will make it a point to tell everyone I know about this incident. My dinner was ruined by a frail strand of hair and a lying waitress. Even more upset that I had to leave a mandatory gratuity after...
