Mr. Riko Loko & Mr. Taco Loko — Restaurant in Bremen Township

Talk about a hidden gem! I hope this place stays open a long time! Kiddos loved all the ice cream flavors from authentic Mexican ice cream to every other amazing flavor. Since moving to Frankfort, we have been having trouble finding delicious mexican... I did the 3 tacos for 10 bucks and was blown away on the authenticity, and they're not small little street tacos like everywhere else that they charge 5 bucks a taco for now. Legit el milagro 6 inch tortillas and homemade hot sauces were phenomenal. I'm not going to lie it beyond exceeded my expectations, honestly. The elotes and different styles look amazing, but I haven't tried it yet. We will definitely be back. No lie, it's the best legitimate authentic Mexican food I've had since moving from the city last year, and that's saying a lot! Simple and very good.. Great food and even better service. I would normally go to Chicago Heights to get some of these awesome frozen treats. I brought my family here and they all loved it including my wife which normally doesn't eat anything like this but when we pulled up she saw a poster outside with some churros on it and she had to try it. Of course, she loved it and made an oh my god face. Everything myself and my kids ate was delicious.

I personally love Mangos so I ate a Fruiti Loko and they were very accommodating by adding jicama fruit for me on top of some extra lime. Man, it brought back memories of when I was a kid growing up in California. My kids absolutely loved the vanilla ice cream. Actually, as I type this I'm getting hungry. Well first and foremost: This is a LOCAL business, the only location. So I am all about local business who have a great product. I ordered 2 of the churro bouquets, and they looked awesome. Keep in mind they need a couple hours notice on these as they make them fresh. The ice cream flavors they had all looked awesome and they have some really unique items on the menu. They also have one of my favorites: Elotes! And you can get them in a cup or on the cob, they also have where you can add takis doritos or cheetos! I tried a strawberry and cream crepe and it was really good tons of fresh strawberries inside and on top. Prices are a bit high, but we don't really have anything like this around, so I will support it. Oh, all the ice creams and popsicles are made fresh in the restaurant by the owner.
