Arby's — Restaurant in Toledo

My husband and I chose to eat lunch at Arby's before grocery shopping.

Instead of eating in the car we went inside.

There was absolutely no one else inside the dining area nor in line when we walked in. We noticed two guys filling drive thru orders and no one at the counter.

We patiently waited for SOMEONE to greet us but no one ever did👀. Then one of the guys said to the other "....would you put your number in the register?"

No acknowledgement of us....No Welcome or Greeting or anything!!!!😣

The other guy walked over and put his number in and just looked at us...😒😞

So I said "Hi..." and proceeded to place our order. That is when we took our cups and got our drinks and took pics of the restaurant while waiting for our food to be prepared. We tried the hush puppy breaded fish and a coupon for 2 for $5 regular roast beef sandwiches.

The meals were fine. My husband was disappointed in the size of the fish but he said it tasted ok....

You would be surprised how much of a difference a warm greeting makes. It is welcoming, inviting and warm. If you are not greeted you feel cold and unwanted even if you are wanted.

The lobby and dining area was clean. We will not be dining in at this location ever and it has NOTHING to do with the food, dining...

please never order from here or work here. horrible all around place. everythings always broken, workers arent even given long sleeves or sweatshirts for WINTER. (yes im a ex staff writing this because people deserve to know they wouldnt even take the money from our paychecks to get us a damn long sleeve in negative weathers), the pop machine in the lobby's broken, the dishwashers broken, they finally got new fryers lucky yall, staff barely even tries to acknowledge their customers. and they mess up orders CONSTANTLY. my own 93 year old grandpas order, mine, my mothers, etc. just all around horrible place to be at, order from, work at, everything. i wouldn't recommend this to a toddler at this rate . DM is disrespectful and passive aggressive. She doesnt give a crap about her staff and cant even wear a uniform when shes there for more than an hr no non slips, no proper hat, no proper pants but will try to talk to whichever way. called me a "little girl" not even to my face like the grown woman she is. very sad that they cant treat customers nor staff correctly. thats why their alwaysssss hiring!!!🤣🤣🤣 i will be contacting OSHA about this because corporate WILL NOT...

I was shorted cheese sticks my sandwich was smashed and sloppy. And when I came in to get my cheese sticks there was an old man who clearly didn't understand that sliders came with cheese, the guy at the register stated that all the sandwiches came with cheese that there were no sandwiches sold there with no cheese the old man tried to point to another sandwich and the guy at the register said that comes with cheese too. Absolutely no compassion at all for the old man all he has to do is make him a sandwich with roast beef or have one made with roast beef and no cheese that all the guy wanted.... What was so hard about that. Sometimes you need to think that could be my dad or my grandpa or one day me... Sometimes having a little empathy for someone isn't asking for too much. I was very disappointed in the service there with this guy and everyone around him who could hear what was going on.
