C C's Cafe — Restaurant in Tomball

My dad and I usually have breakfast at CCs once a week. Lately, we have all been sick. We returned today. We were looking forward to good food, good staff & good company. My dad received a cold burned breakfast platter with no toast. He never received his toast after 2 hours. My platter was cold and not made the way I ordered. I am a very patient, understanding, and forgiving person when they are busy. What I am not forgiving of is the intentional ignoring, rudeness, and unkindness of our waitress while servicing the tables next to us and not once checking on us. The young ladies next to us were also appaulled. We were seated right near the kitchen. When she was near the coffee, I hand gestured for more coffee for my 75 yo father. She completely ignored me and went to clean tables. She ignored our order, which sat getting cold in the back. She passed us over a dozen times to service other tables but not once asked if we received our order, more coffee, or if our order was OK. Our waitress from today should be fired if she is going to be selective in how she treats people, assuming some are money and some are not. Whatever her prejudice is, it should never be displayed at work, especially in the food and hospitality industry. I will compliment GINA and 3 other wait staff, which have always been WONDERFUL to us! They know my order, and they know my dad cannot hear. That will be the reason we return! For spending $50 on a breakfast meal for a family of five. We were so disappointed. My husband ordered regular 2 stake pancakes & I order a 2 stack chocolate chip pancakes. Mine only had chocolate chips on top of it & my husband had chocolate chips inside of his pancakes when he ask for plain pancakes. And for our kids one had ordered French toast and it was so small she was still so hungry we had to feed her the rest of our food our son who’s one had the French toast as well but since it was such a small meal it was enough for him our daughter is 5 she doesn’t eat to much but at least if should would have had two pieces of French toast it would have been enough instead of just one slice but they would not let us substitute the sausage or bacon for another piece of French toast. Our food also took longer than expected a family that came in 15 mins after us received their meal first before we did and they were a family of four. We understand that it was a weekend so they were busier than normal but our waiter only came by to fill up my cup once never came by to ask us if everything turned out as we expected or to ask us if we needed anything else. We just really feel cheated out of a meal especially for our kids for the amount of money we spent. Went to the VA in Tomball Texas . My appointment was very early . When we left the VA it was 11:30am . I wanted breakfast and saw resturant just across the VA . It was called CC,s and I was hungry so we decided to try it . The resturant parking lot was small and it was packed for a Saturday. Went around several times untill a person came out of the restaurant so I parked in his place . I have a walker and it was not easy getting un because of the line at the door . The waitress quickly took us in front in the first tables . They treat the veterans with respect . Kind of felt bad for the people still waiting . The waitress said not to worry about it . The place was very clean but small and very small isles . It was almost noon and I asked the waitress if they still served breakfast since it was 12:00 noon . She told me they served breakfast all day long . Not knowing what to order I went for two tacos with bacon and eggs . My plate came with beans and hash browns . The plate was loaded . My wife ordered the same . The food was excellent, the coffee was very good . The service was exceptional. With that said I give this place a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ rating and will definitely be back be...
