Absolutely horrible customer service. I went in with the intention of having three gold bracelets that had been broken soldered as my regular jeweler was on vacation, but the female employee refused to even look at the pieces before giving me a lecture. She berated me about how the pieces could have only become broken by me mistreating and overwearing them despite them having been broken by a dog. She also lectured me on the pieces that were on my body in the moment (not the ones I had asked her to look at) about wearing them because she said all gold should only be for special occasions despite all my pieces being heirlooms and deeply sentimental to me. She also kept talking down to me as if I was a child and even commented that she would "treat [me] as if I were an adult" despite me being a 25-year-old woman. After speaking down to me and trying to make me feel stupid and like I had never owned an expensive piece of jewelry in my life, she proceeded to look poorly at one of my more delicate pieces that needed to be fixed because the link was hollow, as if it was too cheap for her time and I wouldn't be able to take care of such a piece anyway. She also proceeded to let me know this lecture was out of the goodness of her own heart as she "does not work on commission" even though this speech would've lost her the sale alone if she had. Overall, I would never provide this store my business and I highly suggest that their staff learn how to speak to their customers and not look down on them, their knowledge, or their financial standing based off of their age or appearance....
Read moreWe moved to Pinehurst about 2 years ago. Since then I have been into this store a hand full of times for miscellaneous things as I am looking for a go to jeweler close to home. Every single time I’ve been here, I’ve gotten the feeling like they aren’t as friendly to you unless you’re a regular of theirs. I brought in a diamond band to be repaired. The lady took it to the back and I could hear her and the guy talk about how shitty of a design my ring is and how horrible it is. Very rude. I also wanted to purchase a gold name bracelet for my son and they acted like it was such a hassle to show them to me. I originally left my ring to be repaired but after leaving , I couldn’t shake the feeling that I didn’t need to do business here. I picked up my ring and will be getting it repaired elsewhere. I prefer to shop at local jewelers instead of big box stores but I hate how unless you’re spending thousands, they don’t really seem...
Read moreI had them engrave the back of a watch for me, and I absolutely loved the results! However, my fiance later took my engagement ring here to be downsized only a half size. The ring is not perfectly round anymore, and the thickness of the band varies in places. We did not realize this until we looked closer a few weeks later, so we did not bother taking it back. I don't want my ring to lose even more of its integrity! ** In response to the owner's comment below: While I can understand that, that was not the case with my ring. It had a bent shape on one side. But anywho, thank you for the great work on the watch. However, we have found another wonderful jeweler that fixed my bent ring for free and also charges much less to take a ring...
