Nestled in the heart of Tomball, Texas, lies a hidden gem: Aji Robata & Ramen. This unassuming restaurant offers a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine, from the freshest ramen to delectable robata-grilled dishes.
The star of the show at Aji Robata & Ramen is undoubtedly the ramen. The rich, flavorful broth resulting in a depth of flavor that is simply unmatched. The noodles are perfectly cooked, providing the perfect texture with each bite. And the toppings? Oh, the toppings! From the tender pork belly to the perfectly marinated egg, each element adds a new dimension of flavor to the bowl.
I personally recommend the Tonkotsu ramen, a classic pork broth with all the traditional fixings. The broth is creamy and delicious, and the pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender. But if you're feeling adventurous, be sure to try one of their specialty ramens, like the Spicy Miso or the Black Garlic.
If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Japanese dining experience in Tomball, look no further than Aji Robata & Ramen. The friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and, of course, the amazing food make it a restaurant you'll want to visit again and again.

Read morePoor time management between wait staff, cooks, table rotations- need basic serving skills. Dinner was a disappointing experience. My son and I came for dinner because he loves ramen. I was so happy to see them busy during this weird time with Covid and everything. We ordered a ramen and another meal. Mine came in 35-40min. A bit long but worth the wait especially with them being busy. After 15min my sons meal had not arrived and they still had not filled our drink of water. When the waiter came back with the water another 5-7min later I asked about my sons meal. (Now 20min of only one of our meals being delivered to our table) the waiter went and checked with the cooks returning saying ‘I’m sorry they are working on to-go orders right now yours will be a bit.’ My 10yr old son did not get to eat after sitting for an hour and they were only able to serve my one meal which he nibbled off of in hopes his meal would arrive. They tried to charge us full price for two meals. I told them I was only paying for one as we had only received one. This took another 5-7min and still his ramen was not ready. Highly disappointed in what was supposed to be a mother...
Read moreThis place has it all! I mostly love this place because they have small options to eat if you’re not that hungry like yakitori or Aji buns. Also one day I came in for lunch and as I was leaving a man in a motorized wheelchair was entering, and the server must have known them as regulars because he had their table ready with a seat moved so he could pull right up and had their sweet teas ready and in the table for them! It was very nice.
Overall: 5/5
Price: Prices very reasonable, not over the top. I don’t flinch at the idea of returning because of the cost.
Food: Excellent food, I love the Aji buns and the chicken skewers. Ramen was very good, you can also get Sapporo or Asahi on draft which is nice.
Ramen specific: The Aji tonkotsu is a solid choice, great broth and egg. The chashu is pretty standard but a good serving. Black garlic is a plus.
Service: The server is always hustling and moving quickly. Very friendly here.
Atmosphere/cleanliness: I love the atmosphere here, the wooden interior design has a true authentic Japanese feel. I love all...
