Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in The Woodlands

Went to this location this morning. Daughter had a baby several weeks ago and had a pretty rough time with an emergency C-section. Ordered 3 regular glazed doughnuts, 2 chocolate covered cream filled doughnuts, 3 chocolate covered eclairs. Was brought 3 regular glazed doughnuts, 2 chocolate covered doughnuts no cream filling and no eclairs. Repeated order again adding doughnut holes. Was asked if 12 was ok and replied yes as granddaughter loves donut holes. Lady confirmed she understood order and handed us a bag and charged us $9.10 Unfortunately we were in a hurry as daughter needed our help. We got to her house about 5 miles away and found for the $9.10 we received 3 regular glazed doughnuts, 2 chocolate covered doughnuts unfilled and 3 glazed doughnuts with cream filling. No eclairs, no doughnut holes. Strongly suggest someone from corporate Shipley's review this place as they are cheating customers and giving Shipley's a bad name. Will be a long time before I will consider a Shipley's or at least this one. The employees need to be retrained or replaced. Would have given them no stars, but cannot...

I made an online order for delivery and paid $22.43 for a dozen of mixed donuts and donut cakes. I received a message saying my order was at the front desk of my job. I walk to the front and there’s no order. I immediately tried calling the delivery person and the call didn’t go through. I tried contacting the store a lady answered I told her I made an order for delivery and it says it was delivered but I didn’t get it. She hung up. I had to leave work to go to their location. Once arriving the cashier didn’t understand so she made a phone call and gave me the phone. The person on the other line stated they didn’t have delivery but the app told me different. They didn’t have the specifics of the different donuts I wanted and the ones they had looked old. I asked if I could have a fresh batch made the lady on the line said they only make the fresh batch in the morning. So basically stale donuts which was embarrassing because I wanted to treat my coworkers. The donuts were not fresh not good at all! I’ll never ever ever come...

My family and kids used to love this place as we made a tradition of getting donuts every Saturday morning for breakfast. However, after this recent experience, we won’t be back. I went through the drive thru like I normally do and ordered one dozen mixed donuts. After doing so, I picked my assortment. Upon receiving my donuts and the receipt, I noticed that the price was more than it normally is for my order. I asked the young employee about it, and she told me that she had to charge me for each donut and to pick my donuts I would just have to go in the store next time. So instead of $11.99, they charged me $14.99. Why would I be charged more for picking the mix that I wanted? I did not include any specialty donuts. I parked and went into the store to try to resolve the matter. The same employee rudely stated, “I already told you it will have to be next time”. I asked to speak to the manager, who also wasn’t helpful. At that point, I asked for a refund and left. Very poor...
