Last Saturday I went to the drive-up window of the Burger King on Rt 37 East in Toms River NJ. Now every now and again I have some issues with the service or the food but overall they were usually pretty good. However, last Saturday after driving up to the outside ordering speaker, I had to, first wait for 5 minutes before the man took my order. After taking my order, I drove up and there were 2 cars in front of me. I waited an additional 15 minutes to get up to the window to pick up my order. Once at the window, the man told me the total cost of my order and I handed, as I usually do, my debit card to pay for the order! I saw him say something to the manager and then handed my debit card back and said that they couldn't take credit cards at this time! Well... DARN!!! why didn't he tell me that when ordering or have a sign up at the ordering station! I didn't have any cash on hand and left! What a place!!!!! Never again will I visit this place..... Would have understood if I was given the information about the credit cards as I was ordering or saw a sign that they couldn't take credit orders temporarily!!!! I will never visit that Burger King again. I will go 2 miles up RT 37 to the West one if I decided to visit Burger Kings at...
Read moreMy family had gotten lunch earlier today and I recently noticed something unpleasant. I will not go into details as I don't wish to bash the company in any way. Especially when it was addressed as professionally as it was by the company. Unfortunately I had to call corporate because I couldn't get a hold of a manager by phone and to be fair it was around 5pm so they must have had their dinner rush. I appreciate my concerns being heard and addressed with compassion and professionalism. I wasn't expecting my money back nor was I looking for that, my main focus was what I felt was a safety issue, but appreciated it nonetheless. I just want to thank the lady from corporate who took my call, the district manager and lastly the store manager. All of whom I still can't believe where so kind and professional. No matter what the issue turns out to be in their eyes, hopefully they make sure etxra steps are taken to ensure the safety of future customers. My family and I still recommend going to this location as we have never had an issue before but things can sometimes happen. Its what actions are taken...
Read moreSo I pull up to the drive thru, about 7 cars we're waiting and each car took about 3-4 minutes to order. Thought everyone ordering was just slow. I get to the order window and literally waited 5 minutes and heard nothing from the speaker. So to myself I said what the heck is going on here. Magically some women who sounded like a witch said in the meanest voice "excuse me!!!" I said oh you can here me? She again says "Excuse me!!" As if she was offended I questioned why people are waiting 30 mins to order a cheeseburger. So if she was busy, she couldn't say I'll be right with you? No instead flips out because we're supposed to wait without any common customer skills or decency. Absolutely miserable woman working there. Time was about 6pm car ahead of me drove off in frustration as well. Losing customers because of a miserable unprofessional woman is bad for business. Surprised bk is still even open.
