I was just reading some of the other reviews and they even agree how unprofessional Joe the owner is! I have personally witnessed employees NOT washing hands after blowing noses and most likely using the bathroom. They smoke cigarettes in the back while cooking. The owner was making pizza while he had a big rash on his arm. Another one of the pizza makers was working while he had the flu and sneezing while making pizza! They go from handling money right back to making pizza without washing hands. I've seen some of their uncooked food (shrimp and other) in uncovered trays on the floor and by the dishwasher area. The staff (and owner) speaks Italian rudley about customers while you're still there! I've seen a cook STIR THE HUGE POT OF COLD SAUCE WITH HIS FREAKING ARM WITHOUT GLOVES!! Bathrooms are always disgusting. A few people and the female owner are nice, but the majority of the crew does not give a crap and is plain rude and unprofessional. Owner Joe will not turn on the heat for paying customers. It is freezing in the restaurant sometimes and customers are seen eating in their gloves, scarfs, hats and coats!

I've been coming to this pizzeria since I moved here when I was 7....that's 26 years of enjoying this pizza....up until recently when I've received wrong orders...multiple times....the place has changed ever since it moved to the front....who ever answered the phone this last time...this rude woman trying to rush you off the phone...who has no knowledge of the menu...broke the camels back.....I picked up my last order because I had a feeling after saying I wanted crispy chicken on my pizza 3 times over the phone to her...I knew her attitude was just blowing me off to get me off the phone....they put the pizza on the counter with my mussels....I inspect....I let them know that my pizza was to have the crispy chicken.....I get "I'm sorry I can make you another one right now".....like I want to wait another 20 mins.....they could of at least offered to pick up the tab on my 2 liter, and I wouldn't of been so upset.....I will still eat here...in my opinion it's still the best pizza in toms river....JUST PLEASE SLOW DOWN YOUR PHONE ORDERS, GET THE ORDERS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.....NO JOB IS WORTH...
