Spire Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Toms River

A really cute place inside, several people were in there, mostly late twenties to thirties crowd. You can hang out with your coffee, small bakery items were available like cookies, muffins, coffee cake. You can purchase some of their coffees but I think it was beans only. They had the special of the day coffees listed out in front of the entrance. I had a decafe iced Peppermint Mocha Latte. It was delicious, I was worried the peppermint flavoring might over power the coffee but it was perfect balance. My husband had a hot Amaretto decaf coffee he liked his too! We opted for a chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie. They were a good sized cookie and they were delicious.My comments are positive about Spire coffee but we had a slight wait to get our coffees. Other than that I would rate this place a 8 1/2 out of ten. ☕❤️☕❤️☕❤️☕

Follow up 9/10/24 We have become coffee groupies for Spire Coffee house. Since our first visit we have been going weekly for Iced Latte's, we have tried several flavors, everything has been so decadent. Our next visit we are going to sit in and have one of their bakery items and order a flight of coffees. With the flight you get a choice of either three or four cups of coffees. They offer a lot of flavors and we were told you can get them in hot coffee or iced coffees.

He has some different events happening like music some night, there is also a TV and some sofa seating. Sometimes local vendors will be in the shop.

The owner is very nice, he will be opening a smaller shop in downtown Toms River in October We wish him great success 🥰👍🙂. If you love your coffee try this...

I’ve been meaning to stop in since I pass by often to volunteer nearby and have heard nothing but positives. I was a little taken back by all the flavor options and combinations; so many to choose from! But the staff was friendly and offered time to read everything over and decide. I ended up going with an iced latte with the caramel butterscotch and almond milk along with the Apple cinnamon muffin. The coffee had a nice flavor and I would definitely get that combination again but there’s just so many to choose from that you could go everyday and get something new! There were plenty of snack options that all looked really tasty but that muffin was one of the best I’ve had yet! Extremely fresh with tons of real apple pieces inside! I was looking for a good latte while in town. I decided I didn’t want to get the plain Jane Starbucks variety, and looked online for the highest rated coffee houses in the area. Spire came out on top so I decided to take a drive over. The café latte did not disappoint at all. It was delicious. The milk was frothy and creamy and they made it just to the temperature that I enjoyed. As I was getting ready to pay Pay, I clearly had an impulse by and got a slice of crumb cake as well. It was the perfect duo to sit down. Enjoy my coffee and my cupcake cake while reading the newspaper.
