The Caffeine Haven — Restaurant in Toms River

Update - After posting this review, ai received a virtual giftcard from Caffeine Haven. Needless to say, I appreciate the owner making the situation right. And will return to my weekly Saturday morning coffee from Caffeine Haven as it really is the best coffee in the area. This is a new local coffee shop not far from us. We tried it for the first time the week they opened. The girls behind the counter were friendly, and the service was quick. We absolutely loved our coffee drinks (a hot Brown sugar cinnamon and a cold brown sugar cinnamon). I ALWAYS try to support local, small businesses. So much so, that I post reviews on platforms like this as well on social media. We returned a second time and were just as happy, so I downloaded the coffee app that they use for their loyalty program(Joe). Our next few visits, we used the app (which you have to put money on). Yesterday I tried to order coffee on the app and gave me an error. When we went in to order our coffee and tell them we couldn't use the app (which we still had a significant amount of money on) they told us they switched to a different app. We asked if they would credit us the money we have on the previous app they are no longer using and they said no. They suggested we use it at another establishment. The closest coffee shop that used this same app is 20 miles away. So we are out that money. Needles to stay Caffeine Haven just lost 2 loyal...

My hubby and I were visiting family in the area and wanted to see what all the hype was about. Well, we LOVED the new Caffeine Haven in Toms River. I had to try the Banana Bread Macha, iced of course, and it was the absolute creamiest most delicious drink I had all summer! My hubby goes for plain and simple so he ordered a regular hot latte which he raved about and we accompanied our drinks with delicious cronuts. The play area also was comfortable for the adults to catch up knowing their children were happily occupied while they had time to relax and enjoy a cup of deliciousness. It was a win-win all around.
