This post relates to the “New Owners” of Verace’s! The food is outstanding. But by far, my absolute favorite is their pizza that has a sweet and salty taste to it! The pizza crust is on the thin side and so crispy, yet not hard, but definitely crispy! The square pizza is topped with chicken that is marinated in a sweetish coating that has a minor tang to it, coated in sesame seeds. Don’t worry, it’s not “spicy hot” at all. It is also topped with red onion, green and red peppers, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese! The absolute best!!!! You have to give it a try, you won’t be sorry! And the new owners are a beautiful, hard working family who is doing their best to balance their home and work life; with their older children working at the Pizzeria as well from time to time. Please try and support this business as they are a welcome new addition to the Silverton area!

first time here. We had take out with a large pizza($15.50) and shrimp parm dinner(($19.95).Absolutely the best NY style pizza in Toms River. The shrimp parm had 6 jumbo shrimp, side of ziti( large), side salad and a loaf of bread! hot !! great staff, hustling all the time we were waiting. You can go across the street for entrees and pay double and no difference in quality. we were impressed and will now make this our go to Italian take out

Equally wonderful is the family that owns Verace. Genuinely amazing people that treat everyone like family. Outstanding friendly service. Thank you. God Bless.

I've ordered from this place on Slice for a while now and I thought I should give it a review to combat the recent troll ones. Everything I order from here is always good. Pizza, sandwiches, wraps, calzones, apps, everything. They actually HONOR the request for no-contact delivery every time. Every other place I order from does not. Although they recently added a delivery fee, it is small compared to other places. I don't mind supporting this place. The longest wait I've ever had for a delivery is about an hour, most of the time they are early. Ignore the recent troll reviews for this place. (Eleven 1 star reviews all on the same day?)

UPDATE: Apparently they no longer deliver to my address as of August 2024. Which is a shame. I haven't ordered from here for a long time so I don't know exactly what has changed since then. It is only 5 miles from...

Amazing! Some of the best pizza in Toms River. Have been to most pizzerias/restaurants in the area, & Verace (under new ownership) is one of the best in town. Delicious thin flavorful airy crispy crust cooked to perfection. We ordered a thin square Grandma crust with Vodka sauce yesterday. Excellent. Flavorful ingredients. Love the sauce. Perfect balanced ratio of crust, sauce & cheese. Not over oily, over cheesy or under cooked doughy, or over cooked burnt falling apart. Cooked to perfection. Fast delivery.
