Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Tooele

I really hate to leave a negative review, but it's got to be done. Last week we called ahead for a pick up order. We arrived 10 minutes after the time we were told that it would be ready. Went to the drive up window and the poor girl who came to help was flustered. Our order hadn't even been started on yet. She told us to go park and then we could pick up our pizza by walking into the store, give them 10 minutes. So we paid and then parked to wait. We gave them 15 minutes and then went inside. There were 2 other customers waiting and I wasn't even greeted when I walked up to the counter. Finally someone acknowledged me, I told them I had a pick up order that I'd just paid for at the drive thru window. I was told ok great, we'll get your order started now. 😬 Seriously? We waited for an hour to have 2 pizzas made. Why do they offer online or phone orders if they don't actually fulfill them? The poor kids working there seemed very stressed and nervous and it's not a good feeling inside of this store. We have been ordering from this store location for over 8 years and have never had issues until now. We thought this might be a fluke so we decided to try them again this weekend for a party we are hosting. I wish we hadn't. The wouldn't honor our Stallion Card, it's a keychain that does not say it's a one time use card. Again, it's designed as a keychain for multiple use. The "manager" demanded that we give her the keychain from off of our keys. My daughter didn't know any better so she did and the "manager" threw it in the garbage! I'm glad my daughter called to tell me as we demanded she give the keychain back and our money back as well. Good job "manager" you've just lost a solid customer. All of the excuses you gave were just that. Excuses. Bad service 2 weeks in a row is just ridiculous. We'll go to the other pizza places out here in Tooele.

*Edited to add we took the Stallion Card to the Magna location. Guess what? They said it is not a one time use card, it's one time per purchase. We happily made our purchase there instead. I hope that the Tooele location figures their stuff out.

*Edited to add: tried the Tooele location again. YOUR STORE MANAGER IS A FLAMING IDIOT!!! The keychain coupon is NOT a onetime use. Why is this woman still working there? Didn't get her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag. Spoke down to us and asked why we couldn't use the app like everybody else. Not your damn business to worry about how we choose to use the coupon. I will never see foot inside this location again. What a...

Wow! I am not sure if the terrible service is just with the location in Tooele Utah or what. I have been a very long time customer of Papa Murphy's and even rated 5 stars. I have to change that now because of a really bad and unprofessional experience at this store. I ordered 2 pizzas. A hot honey pepperoni and a Thai chicken. I picked it up and took it home. There my son noticed that I had gotten a cowboy and a Thai. The first name was the same. I got the Thai and another Jodis Cowboy. Names spelled totally different and different last names. I call them and explain and the girl tells me to come back and they will give me a free side along with the correct pizza. We verified it was the Hot honey. I get there and she hands me what looks like a pepperoni with 2 of the hot honey cups that I purchased originally. It does not look like there is honey on it. I turn around and walk back in and ask her if she is sure this is a hot honey. She looks at it and says yes it is. I take it home and it was NOT. They have messed up my order before, but we love your pizza, when we get what we ordered. They are all young and standing around gossiping while they act like they are doing something. We've had several problems with orders being incorrect over the past few years, but today's was just sad in regards to customer service. The pizza today looked like it was a thin crust, but at pickup I wsd assured it was just their standard crust. Upon baking at the recommended temperature and time, the pizza looks pathetic - crust did not rise and appears to be old dough they just went ahead and used past its prime (anyone who had used Rhodes rolls but accidently let go past the right time to use knows what I'm talking about). The outer edge crust is visibly "doughy", akthough cooked, and did not brown or rise. When I called in to ask if they changed their dough recipe, I was told "no", then I explained the unpleasant outcome of cooking it to their directions (as I always do, but have not had this issue), and she spoke to a manager on duty who I could hear talking in the background, and the manager just confirmed "nothing has changed, don't know what they want us to do about it". The manager was completely unapologetic and made no attempt to 'make it right'. Super disappointed in my aimless attempts to try again and again at ordering at the Tooele Papa Murphy's, only to be met with subpar customer service, incorrect orders, and lack-luster...
