Swig — Restaurant in Tooele

I just want to start this off by saying I am a regular swig customer and I usually love coming here! In the past the workers have always been wonderful but in the last couple months I feel as the atmosphere has shifted. I guess I shouldn’t say the entire crew has changed, just one girl in particular. I didn’t want to say anything the first time I had a bad encounter with this girl because I assumed maybe she was having a bad day, but now that it’s happened a second time with the same girl I can’t just bite my tongue anymore. I don’t know her name but she’s the one with the shaved head. Awhile back I had rather uncomfortable encounter with her as I thought she was quite rude and was trying to rush me out of the line, when the order was finished she rolled her eyes as she went inside with the ipad. I understand that I came rather late but I work nights and sometimes just want a sweet treat after, so I didn’t appreciate it. Now here comes my most recent encounter with her. It was snowing and I didn’t have any cash on me, when I went to pay she asked me for my credit card details. I wasn’t the most comfortable with the idea of her having that information and when I expressed this to her she insisted that I give her this information as I wouldn’t be able to pay otherwise. I’m more confused than mad, i’ve never been treated like this before at this location? I’m unsure if they’re under new management but they need to get it...

My family and I have been fans of Swig for a very long time. We recently moved to Tooele from South Jordan and looked forward to going to the local Swig.

Ive been. 4 times, each time with the same 4 drinks. Each time the order was not just wrong it was terrible. Such as using soda water instead of soda, wrong drink mixes of flavors, or just a general lack of quality with lids not on or soda all over the outside of the cup.

I've held off writing this review as its easy to get a wrong mix. But after 4 visits and 4 drinks each visit and they have all been wrong I've finally decided to give my review.

This location has no quality or attention to detail. Its almost like they just put whatever they feel like in each cup.

Furthermore, the location is in such a bad place that's its very difficult to go back after you leave.

So with two other drink locations in Tooele, we've decided to leave Swig.

Sorry Swig, it was great while it lasted but the QC at this location is non-existent and I'll not pay for...

Staff is so so rude! Tooele’s supposed manager was super immature and treated me like an enemy right off the bat. He had no people skills. I was speechless, and I wasn’t being weird or rude, or loud. I had my husband park so we didn’t hold up the line and I stood out in the freezing cold because the employee didn’t give us back our card after we paid for our drinks. I waited in below freezing weather for them to look for my card and they acted like I was crazy, avoiding eye contact and insisting they didn’t have the card immediately, like not enough time had passed for them to have looked. I asked for the manager hoping I could talk to a responsible adult and this kid told me he was the general manager, and I felt hopeless. He was so rude, like if I had a petty problem maybe his attitude could be justified but it was not only access to my money but also sensitive information. I think Swig should have a policy where the card doesn’t have to leave the customer’s hand- I know a lot of places...
