I cannot sing the praises long enough or loud enough for this gem in downtown Topeka. The cocktails are truly on another level, they have the classics but Sarah is a mixologist with a love of creating new and unique drinks you cannot find anywhere else. The apps from The White Linen (across the hall) are the best in topeka and on par or better than anything you can find in Lawrence or Kansas City. We absolutely LOVE The Knox. It is the best place to go for drinks and apps. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a smaller quaint location. It is so cozy in there and Sarah and Phil make you feel like you’ve been going there the whole time. Sarah is so creative with her cocktails. She continues to amaze me. I totally trust whatever she will make for me. I know I will love it. If you haven’t been there, you are truly missing the gem of Topeka. Great little bar adjacent to the White Linen restaurant. There is a Happy hour with 1/2 price cocktails, but do not expect happy hour food. You can get a small plate from the restaurant. The bartender is pretty good! I knew the flavors I wanted and he created a drink for me. He did it consistently three times! My friend said her drink was good as well. He also has pretty good taste in music. My only petty complaint is that it is super dark in there! We turned on our phone flashlights just to read the menu. Overall, pricey, but good service made...
