My employer had used this restaurant for catering. It was absolutely delicious and left an impression for me. We heard about the 3rd floor skyview eating experience, so we went. We went on a weeknd afternoon to have lunch. We climbed up 3 flights of stairs and sat at the table. The window pane sat high, so it was difficult to look out the window to enjoy the views. We placed our order, and we waited. The appetizer was brought out. It was not what we ordered. My fiance food was brought out, and it was not what he ordered . The cilantro rice was absolutely horrible. It was really dry, and the cilantro tasted like it was flakes and not fresh. The chips were hard like they were overcooked. There were not enough chips for the queso. We ordered queso blanco, and it came out yellow. It was a disappointing experience. It felt as if the waitress did not listen to us at all. I used to manage restaurants, and I understand that we are human and make mistakes. It was frustrating because there were a total of 4 occupied tables in the entire restaurant, and it could have been a more intimate experience without a large crowd. My entre dish was absolutely delicious. The presentation and flavors of the tacos are what saved the review from having 1 star. It appears that the food may be a hit and miss depending on who is...

We tried this place out for lunch today. The food was phenomenal. 5 stars for everything we ordered (chips & guacamole, double decker taco, shrimp taco, Mahi Mahi taco, and Chipotle chicken taco). The chips were magnificent and reminded us of the way grandma used to fry the Tortillas fresh. The guacamole may be my favorite in T-town. It was really fresh with a lot of red onion, which I love. The service was impeccable. They were well-staffed and we felt taken care if without being suffocated. Those are the true highlights! The down sides? We were seated on the third floor. The sky lights male the rather small area feel bright and cheerful, however, the space is cramped. The waiters had to juggle trys over our heads to get to the adjacent tables leaving me wondering if I would make it through my meal with taco stuffing on my head or shirt. The space is also very loud. The concrete floors, the chair legs scraping across them, the entire lack of soft spaces to muffle sounds made it quite difficult for us to even hear each other speak throughout our meal. We'll be back for the food, for sure....but not a place we'll likely frequent with friends where we want to have good...

I felt like the staff was angry. It was like I don’t want to be here and don’t ask me to do my job. I know what I’m doing type of attitude. It’s a Mexican restaurant and yet chips and salsa are NOT included. If you order chips as an appetizer you are limited to one refill. So we ordered chips and queso, and just enough chips to use with the queso. The tacos had barely anything in them. 2 tacos for $10 is pretty pricey, especially since they where small The burrito I ordered was a good size and it came with a side of french fries, for $17. Once again it had a minimal amount of barbacoa, and loaded with a seasoned rice. Tastes great, if I wanted a rice filled burrito with a hint of meat. Overall the restaurant was clean, staff each has their own job, and don’t dare ask if they can do something that’s not part of their job description. Will I return, probably not. To many places to spend my money on for a more relaxing and enjoyable lunch,...

This cozy three story atmosphere manages to be chic and well organized in tight spaces. It keeps noise low to have 3 different dining areas and two bars. We've personally eaten at the Lawrence location prior to it moving. The new chef is absolutely crushing it here. The original favorites are still there (crack dip) with some new refinements in the menu. We've eaten the pork belly, barbacoa and cheeseburger taco combos. All were delicious! The chips are made in house and nice and thick with a wonderful golden color. A great family friendly spot, our toddler loved the coloring pages and big TVs (and so did my husband). For 2 meals, 1 kids meal, a drink and chips we paid about 37 dollars. The staff were so friendly and happy to be there. It is nice to see a team who enjoys their place of work. I hope this spot sticks around for a long long time.

I really wanted this to be better than what it was i started with the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were terrible, the mango habanero salsa has zero mango flavor and appears to be straight habanero, it's horrific, my face is on fire and my lips feel like they're melting, i enjoy heat in my meals, but this is a whole level past heat, i also ordered a barbacoa taco, it was ok, the meat was dripping in grease. The yellow rice, was dry and had zero flavor. The refried beans were ok. Service was ok, upbeat server, left me with water and took a while to come back after i was finished. Looks modern and clean, but I'll wait till they iron out the food before i come back.

First time eating here. It's more of an upscale taco shop. No free chips and salsa at this place. They have an unusual but delicious selection of tacos. Tried the pork belly and the bacon cheeseburger tacos. Both were scrumptious! We also tried the dip flight. Which had queso, guac, and salsa. Queso was very good, but salsa verde and gauc were bland. Chips were a little well done. Overall, tacos were expensive but tasty. Would I eat here again, most definitely! Especially if they had lunch specials.
