Disappointing Experience at Boba Bunny Rating: 1/5 I dislike writing bad reviews, but this place seriously deserves one. I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to Boba Bunny. The food looked amazing on social media, but we got a different story. We ordered the bubble waffle Ice cream, which was advertised to come with ice cream. But when we got the order, we were shocked to find that the "ice cream" was just a false advertisement of cheap whipped cream sandwiched between the waffle cone. There was not even a tablespoon of regular spoon-size ice cream. The waffles were dry and flavorless, and the whipped cream was overly sweet. It was like they took a shortcut and replaced the ice cream with a cheap substitute. The worst part is that the advertisements and promotions clearly show a generous scoop of ice cream, which is not what we had. Well, on my visit, I encountered people who were advertising for the place on social media, posting images, and getting way better food than what they give out to the other people because they were posting on social media to advertise to people when in reality it does not look like that. The false advertising and subpar food quality made for a disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend Boba Bunny to anyone until they improve their food and honesty in their marketing. Save your money and go elsewhere for a better boba experience. Included is a picture of the people taking pictures to advertise online for the business, and everything in their photo looks perfect, so you guys can come in here and waste your money on some whipped cream and frozen churros This is the third time l've come here for one of those "viral jiggly bunnies" as advertised on social media; I have yet to get one. Supposedly, they sell out right in the morning when they first open, which doesn't make any sense because the advertiser who walked in sure got two bunnies saved for them. They definitely won't last long once you come here and see for yourself. PSA- they only have good reviews because they are giving the good reviewers free stuff, and the free stuff is not worth it because this place is just disappointing. Below, I have attached some pictures of the social media advertisers' food vs images of...

After visiting for the 1st time, I do have to say that I am underwhelmed. TL;dr- the drink wasn't good and the boba was overcooked.
After my 2nd visit, the drink was way better because I got 100% sweetness but it tasted like 50% from other shops. The tea flavor was barely there still but it was a creamier than the previous visit.
The decor is really great. Very pink and instagrammable friendly; however, it was really warm in there. It was cooler outside! Also, when they use their blender, it reverberates throughout the store. It's so loud, you'd have to cover your ears.
I got myself a Phoenix Oolong MT. You order through a touchpad kiosk. I am comparing this to the best of the best (tried Phoenix Oolong from Orobae and that's the gold standard).
The drink was bland. I did get 75% sweetness but it tasted like 25%. The tea was barely present. Since it is a milk tea, I was expecting it to be creamy and it wasn't. I don't know if they used real milk? But it wasn't creamy at all. I do think they brew the tea... Just that they didn't concentrate the tea, so its bland.
The boba was also overcooked but it was seasoned. I hope they do keep consistency with the cooking of their boba.
Having good boba is an indication of a lasting shop, so I hope they get their drinks and boba right.
I haven't tried their food, but hopefully it's better than La Cha which is down a couple of blocks in Normandie. Looking forward to it's opening. I've been to the other location and...
Read moreWarning! I was shocked to find that my credit card information was linked to their rewards program without. Make sure to double-check and remove it if this happens to you. Rewards points should be tied to a phone number, not a credit card.
UPDATE: While that may be how the rewards system operates, there is no valid reason to store customers’ credit card information—only phone numbers should be saved. If Toast were to experience a data breach, customers’ credit card details could be compromised, and even major corporations face security breaches regularly. You should provide a clear option for customers to opt out of having their credit card information stored.
We were excited to support this place as locals, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. While the decor is impressive, that’s about the only positive. Despite having employees, no one acknowledged us. Instead, you’re forced to order from one of two kiosks—only one of which was working—resulting in an unreasonably long wait.
Everything about this place feels overly artificial and forced. It’s disappointing because it has so much potential, yet it’s completely let down by poor execution...
