This is the tale of the HoneyBaked unglazed ham. My brother graciously for Thanksgiving purchased two hams. We all know how expensive they are, but due to the beautiful glaze on top and the usually delicious taste; you just eat the cost. Well you cannot believe the dismay and disappointment when we open up our hams and they did not have a lick of glaze on them. They were completely dry. I felt so bad because I talked my brother into purchasing two hams at a Hefty cost. HoneyBaked does have the policy that you have 7 days to return a ham. But guess what, it is something that is written in the store on the wall someplace. I commend those who have the presence of mind to read the policies of a store, posted on the wall; after waiting in line for over an hour, my brother's bad. The policy was missed unfortunately. I made a call to HoneyBaked on the 8th day and was told what the policy was and the time limit. Forgive me, I just could not let it go. My question was why don't you put this information on the receipt. I was told by The HoneyBaked manager at the Torrance store that the reason is because their machines that print out the receipt are old and don't have that capability. Are you kidding me, they don't have the money to update that is so laughable. HoneyBaked has 400 stores. Everybody knows they make a ton of money, especially on certain holidays. You can't tell me they cannot afford to print the return policy on the receipts; they just choose not to. We are just the flock of customers . HoneyBaked wins but I will never buy anything from them again. It is also my duty to let everyone who walks in that door know about this policy. Returns must be within 7 days. It's only five words and a number. Shame on you Honey Baked. Please note: I only have one receipt for my ham I don't have the other receipt for my brothers but he bought t w o hams. I also want to add that my brother picked up the ham on the 21st so he did not wait in line...
Read moreMy experience I had with honey baked ham. My experience with honey baked ham gets a very low rating cause the last3 holidays has been very bad with the hams. I bought a ham this year for Easter and their were no glaze at all just liquid in the bag. I have brought ham from your location for many years over 30 years but the hams are not very glaze and good now. I visit Tulsa Ok for Thanksgiving and I brought a ham for the Holiday and that ham was very good it taste and looked like the hams I used to buy. I’m very dissatisfied with this ham I have today. With the virus that we have going on I did not ask to look at it. Another time I asked to look at my ham the person who waited on me like had an attitude like she did not won’t me to see what I was buying. What can you do to improve just the glaze on these ham cause I love your ham and I would like to continue to buy them but if it’s like the one I just purchase I will not be buying one. I’m sorry I had to make this complain but I’m not...
Read moreI as so disappointed in this business. My husband picked up a holiday ham for our festivities today, and although the prices just keep going up, I can't fault them for this, because I was already aware of the situation, however, every time now we go in something has changed and not for the better. The last 2 times we were in the purchase for the holidays, buying only side dishes by themselves was not allowed I was told by the company. This year, they did have stuffing for a side dish, (which had always actually been my favorite part of the meal because it was fresh and tasty), but this year it came frozen in a cardboard box, and when heated tasted like something you would purchase from a convenience store that had been left in the freezer to long. As far as I'm concerned, we will not be making any further purchases from...
