Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea - Torrance — Restaurant in Torrance

I frequent at this boba shop because I love this boba shop when I tried it in the 626 area and Sawtelle. Glad that we have one in the South Bay!

I always get the Pineapple Green Tea 50% Sweet (100% sweetness gets too sweet. Trust me!). I think even the 50% taste like full sweetness for other stores.

The most interesting item in this spot is their mochi jelly cake. Its like a square boba!! Think of a cross between boba and agar jelly (crystal boba) as far as texture. I always get this topping here.

I would also recommend this milk teas. You can choose your base tea! It always has a strong tea flavor!

The only thing that that turns me off a little is that a lot of the drinks here are noncustomizable, but that is a great advantage for the store to prevent complicated orders lol.

A authentic boba place with a comforting environment. The staff are patient and attentive, the moment I went into the boba place a staff was getting ready at the cashier and waited for however long I took to order (I really appreciate the subtle gesture) I drank a brown sugar milk tea(the sweetness was fixed sadly but it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be) with boba, I was quite satisfied with the tea taste but the boba is a bit too small and soft for me, the other time I went I drank a Traditional milk tea with half sugar and half ice, with the mochi jelly cake and it was amazing, I loved the aldente texture of the mochi jelly cake and the slight sweetness it has with every bite, the milk tea is definitely above standard. Love this Yi Fang! It is beautifully designed and clean inside. With its huge windows for walls, it makes for a nice hang out or study spot.

Sweet Taro Sago Frappe Latte - is a tasty blended drink with tiny soft tapioca pearls and bits of taro. 70% sugar was not too sweet. Medium size is very filling. A taro lovers dream. No caffeine! Other non caffeine options include the sugarcane series.

Oolong Milk Tea - had a delicate yet creamy flavor. Normal ice level was just right. 100% sugar tasted light and not overly sweet. Boba pearls were medium sized, chewy and soft.
