At the end of the day, this is a McDonald's. I've never been disappointed, and never been blown away. Don't take the 3 star review to mean that it is bad, because it isn't, it's just slightly above average, in my opinion.
With regards to the food: the same old familiar stuff. Nothing terribly different compared to other McDonald's, the buns taste a little less fresh but their meat tastes a little better, so it averages out. Sometimes they're out of stuff and sometimes they aren't, nothing over the top. Ice cream and shakes are fairly average, though specials come from time to time that are tasty.
The service here is above average compared to other ones I've been to. I typically go at night, when it's slower, but I've always had pleasant interactions. There are the robo-kiosks here, and they do table service. The speed is extremely fast for the easy orders, too; I've ordered 2 triple cheeseburgers and a McChicken and they got my order out in under a minute and a half.
This particular McDonald's is very clean, from what I've seen. I actually considered awarding four stars simply from how well-kept the store was, and I may still change my rating the more I come here.→see below
A quick summary: This Mickey D's is cleaner on average, with slightly quicker speeds, but about what you expect from any other McDonald's with regards to everything else. Nothing to blow you away, but nothing to drive you away, either. Good for a quick bite, good for a craving, and open 24 hours.
Edited March 8th, 2019: Decided that the cleanliness with worth a fourth star. Went in again and was pleasantly surprised with restrooms. Despite being out of soap in one dispenser, the rest of the restroom was...

McDonald's decided that it is worth having customers stand at the front desk for 5 minutes and get ignored instead of just leaving the self serve refill machine there.
I am sure there is theft, but you now have to make your customers angry, and pay someone to get the refill, and also you use a new cup every time.
All of your new remodels look like hospital gift shops. No color, none of the fun stuff that existed 10-20 years ago. This location allocated 1/4 of the seating space to a conference/party room that you cant sit in. Instead the employees put their kids in there because the companies don't pay enough for them to afford childcare. I feel so bad for the kid locked in that room for 8 hours with a tablet.
Every single stable had trash on it, and sticky parts. Also even though I had a table order, they just throw it in a bag and scream out your table number. I was wanting a tray and of course they lock those up too. Too bad I was thinking about building a house out of all of my stolen trays.
This is a knock on all mcdonalds. Whoever the corporate genius was to make all drive throughs 2 lines should be fired. I understand it is more efficient, but at the cost of making most of your customers angry that they picked the wrong line, and the one to the left put 8 cars through before 1 got through your line.
It would be fine if you had dedicated employees for each, but you will have one drive thru person and someone else laying shingles on the roof and between hammer swings they will check to see if there is a customer. If you MUST have 2 lanes, make one of the drive through code...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Between the multiple occasions of missing food (which I understand with being a restaurant manager that those occasions unfortunately happen) and completely rude employees, I will not go to this location ever again and will make sure to inform every person I know to not spend a penny here. I have had employees roll their eyes, completely ignore me at the window, play on their cell phones rather than hand me the bag with my food that is sitting next to them, waited over fifteen minutes for two items while being the only car in line, etc. Your late night crew never has a correct uniform on. I wish I could say that the worse thing that has happened was an employee not thanking me (which has happened about 40% of my visits). You desperately need to retrain your DT staff on customer service. A customer is not a burden, but a reason they have a job. A customer is 10 times more likely to tell others about a negative experience over a positive. I have had managers take my order and are completely ignorant on customer service as well. I do not wish to say that every visit here has been completely atrocious, but the overwhelming majority of visits have been. As a GM, I would never allow my staff treat my guests this way, especially this often. Thankfully Chesterfield citizens are forgiving. However turning the other cheek, and driving an extra mile to the next Quick Service Restaurant who appreciate their business are two separate entities. I urge everybody to drive the extra mile in hopes they will not witness the headache (and stomach ache) usually received...
