Muscarella's Pizza- Main St. Williamsville — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

Ordered a large pizza. 1/2 cheese, 1/2 jalepeño and sausage. The person on the phone was nice, polite. He gave me a total on the phone. He said we would be there in an hour. Wednesday night.

Pizza arrived 10 minutes late. Nothing to complain about. I started the stop watch when I hung up the phone. (Most pizza places around here run 20-40 late)

Delivery driver was also very polite. Nice job!

On to the Pizza.

Crust was beautifully cooked. Nice golden color. Nice balance between soft dough on the inside and crisp bottom. Dough is a touch thinner than most buffalo style pies.

Sauce was Goldilocks. Not to much, not to dry. Cheese stayed in place. Just Right.

The toppings looked like they were put on with a laser level. Clearly divided from the cheese only side. A good amount of sausage and jalepeños.

Job well done.

I'll review again when I order wings and fingers.

So after trying the local pizza places. Musscarellas is good..... Pay the extra dollars for La Nova. The wings are bigger. The sauce for the pizza is OMG. Not to sweet, not to bitter. It's just right. I can almost promise canned tomatoes. But the sauce taste like 1980s...

Can you fall in love with a pizza place? I found Muscarella's about 5 years ago now. I ordered a few times and had it delivered and everything was amazing. When I went into Muscarella's in person I was shocked at how clean it was, which is even nicer during the pandemic!

This place has amazing pizza and it has hands down the best wings in the world. Not just in Buffalo, or Williamsville, or WNY, but the world. Do you know how good these wings are? When I would go for my cancer scans at Roswell and then be allowed to eat real food again the first thing I would do is order wings from Muscarella's. Every time it's my turn to order for get togethers I get pizza and wings from Muscarella's. Their Char BBQ wings are DIVINE.

The only thing I'm not really a fan of are their chicken fingers, but their chicken finger pizza is one of my favorite pizzas. Go figure. Their antipasto is fantastic. Their calzones are the best.

You will not find better pizzeria food than this.

I started going to Muscarella's 15 years ago when I moved to Williamsville. They had awesome pizza and subs and nice people. But that recently changed. There is a new manager (or owner?) running the place. The two cooks looked very young and he was constantly yelling at them. I ordered a cheeseburger sub on the phone and paid for it when I arrived. The manager then handed me a small brown bag containing one hamburger. I pointed out that I ordered a cheeseburger sub and he went back and yelled at one of the cooks that he screwed up. He said just wait a few minutes. He then handed me the same brown paper bag this time with two burgers. I was going to point out that there are more than two burgers in a sub, and that I paid for a sub, but I just wanted to leave because of all the bad vibes from this nasty manager. Used to be a great place, now I need to...
