The Village Grille — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

I ordered togo. The food was good but... The price was over $1 more than I expected to pay (based on what the web site said). When I brought it up I got a bit of attitude l. She said "I don't have anything to do with that" and repeated the price. I checked my food because I requested the cheese in the side. It was not. I brought that up and her reply was "well that's not what he wrote" as she slid the food back to me. Finally after driving away almost 5 min I had to turn around because I realized she never gave me the pop that was supposed to go with my food. Over all I was disappointed with the service... but maybe they were...

This food was incredible!! You get so much food for what you pay for. I got the small Greek salad and that could easily feed two people as a starter salad or one person (plus potentially leftovers) for dinner. All of the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. The gyro I ordered was also amazing and I even ate it a day old (don't tell the owners - I'm sure they would be disappointed ;) ) because I was in a rush and it was still absolutely incredible. The Village Grille is the best place for Chicken Souvlaki in the Buffalo area. Chicken Souvlaki is one of my favorite meals so I've tried many places and this is, by far, my number one choice. The ingredients are fresh, deilcious, & the owner is friendly. The only suggestion I could make is that you may want to order an extra pita half because you only get half a pita for the regular size salad. Yum !! && keep up...
