Squeeze Juicery — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

I want to preface this and say that I am usually a HUGE squeeze fan, we come here almost weekly. Today we went and picked up our order and when we got home I realized my redemption song bowl (which is usually a vibrant green as in the picture on the website below) was a dark green-brown color. It tasted off, like something was bad or something extra was put in it. I ate all of the toppings because for the $15 price point I didn’t want to throw the entire thing away. But I just couldn’t eat the smoothie, something was wrong with it.

I did call and spoke with the manager about something being off with the bowl. She did explain that she was the one who made the bowl herself and the recipe hadn’t changed. I am just disappointed for the $15 price point that it wasn’t up to par. Usually every time I come here they knock it out of park. But today this bowl and experience left me with a sour taste (literally and figuratively).

Update: I returned again and although I did not get a redemption song bowl, my husband got a landslide bowl, my son got a 3 little birds smoothie, and I got a “We got the Beet” juice and hotel California salad with chicken. LOVE Squeeze! Only place in the area that has REAL smoothies made with real ingredients and not fillers and fake fruit juices. Their salads and protein balls are also delicious. Haven’t tried the juices yet, but looking forward to soon. We enjoy that they have a menu of staple smoothies, along with seasonal ones and the ability to create your own- which is what I do a lot of the time (unless it’s fall, that seasonal menu is AMAZING and I wish they were available all year round!). Another nice option they have is to order on the app ahead of time- which is perfect for those of us that have kids or busy work schedules. My only wish is that they would have the create your own smoothie option on the app which isn’t currently available. The staff is always friendly, despite that they are typically very busy (which is a good problem to have!). I absolutely love Squeeze Juicery — it’s one of my go-to spots! The smoothies are consistently fresh and delicious. I do have two suggestions that I think could make the experience even better:

It would be great if Squeeze Juicery participated in the rewards program through the Toast app. Most other restaurants on the platform offer discounts or points for frequent orders, but unfortunately, Squeeze Juicery doesn’t. I’d definitely appreciate some kind of loyalty incentive for regular customers. I’d also love to see an option for unflavored protein powder. I usually skip the protein add-ins because the flavored options tend to change the taste of the smoothies.
