Came to this location over the other location assuming that the food quality would be better but little did I know I would be in for a surprise. I started off with the soft shell crab and the fish Rangoon rolls. The soft shell crab came deep fried on a bed of mixed vegetables and chopped mangos. The first problem started with the presentation, the crab looked overly battered and fried but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from trying it still. Sadly the taste matched the presentation and mainly tasted like fried grease with hints of crab. Being that I’ve had soft shell crabs from other restaurants, I can confidently say that apart from it being overly battered the crab itself was a bit crunchy..yuck! Rating 4.5/10
The fish Rangoon rolls was also presented on a bed of mixed vegetables and pieces of mangos. Again presentation was lack luster, the fish Rangoon rolls were no doubt burnt being that the edges were black. They were also a bit darker than your typical egg roll or spring roll(again probably because they were burnt). Now for the first bite it wasn’t what I was expecting but it wasn’t terrible. The filling came with a slap of cream cheese and a slice of salmon, really nothing too special I would give it a 6/10. I would recommend maybe blending the two like found in traditional crab Rangoon for a more palatable and tasty experience.
Time for the main disappointment for the night...dinner. I ordered the sesame chicken served with white rice along with the sun spicy chicken. Starting with the sesame chicken..man just man although they give you big pieces of chicken it suffers and falls short on taste and quality. It was extremely dry as far as the sauce was concerned and the chicken itself was very very fatty. I ended up not even finishing the plate let alone the first bite I had taken because it was so disgusting. Overall rating 1.5/10 (the rice was good).
Now to wrap this up with the sun spicy chicken. For presentation this was the best out the entire night, it came in a glass rice bowl with a lid and was extremely hot and was recommended by the waiter to be careful and be cautious when removing the lid. Following the waiter’s advice I removed the lid with caution and let steam release only to discover i apparently ordered curry chicken over yellow rice. This was my final straw! I was expecting some type of seasoned chicken with delicious spices not curry chicken I can grab from my local Jamaican spot like come on mon. I guess it was my fault for having such expectations and I looked past it and was decently surprised. Now it wasn’t nothing to write home about but it was decent. As Im eating the chicken and rice I notice that rice is a bit chewy and so something in my head says dig to the bottom of bowl. Boom, I’ve found the culprit! The bottom portion of the rice was blackened and stuck to the bowl from being overly cooked. So with that I took the last sip of the cheap sake I ordered and asked for the check. I’m truly disappointed in my experience being that I was eyeing this place for a few weeks and the reviews weren’t bad. Unfortunately to say I will not be returning to this location nor the establishment itself. I’m leaving 2 stars because I did enjoy the bed of mixed vegetables and mangos that came with...

The food is decent. But I hope this review informs others of how unprofessional the staff are. My friend and I split a bill of $62 (pre-tip) and then on 3/19/22, I noticed that I got charged $86 on my credit card. I called the restaurant for them to verify because I originally thought "things happen". But the restaurant asked me if I have the customer's copy which I didn't and he said "this is why you keep your receipt because we can't really check anything from here." I was appalled by this response and demanded them to recheck their records. He said he can't at the time and will call me back. 4 hours went by and I still haven't heard anything so I went to the restaurant. It took a while for them to find my transaction and initially offered me a $50 gift card for the restaurant rather than a cash/credit refund. I refused to accept it and was just going to call my credit card company to refute the false transaction at the scene. Then they refunded me the $50 in cash and told me not to call the credit card company (which is understandable and I didn't). Like I said, mistakes happen. But this is not how you fix it. You don't make the customer drive back to the restaurant for a false transaction and offer a gift card in the amount for that false transaction. Never going here again. Also, how unfortunate to see a Burmese restaurant fail to recognize their own history and have The Rising Sun Flag used by the Japanese during WW2 which is equivalent to the Naz1 Flag by the Germans in WW2...
