Had a very stressful and difficult experience at this AT&T location. Went in last week to trade in my phone for a newer one. The process (updating the phone and transferring my old phones data over) was taking longer then expected so they said I could leave the phone with them and come back and hour or so later, I did. They said if it finished early they would give me a call on a different number I gave them. I came back an hour later and the phone was having difficulty updating because of their WiFi. They told me to take my new phone and do it the transferring and updating on my own WiFi. But they had removed my cellular data from my old phone, so if I couldn’t update the new phone at my own house I would not have any phone with cellular data to be able to contact. My problem is that 1) they should have called me when they were first experiencing trouble with the new phone and 2) not sent me with home with 2 phones that had no cellular data on them (they admitted that they should have put the cellular data back on my old phone before I left the store the 2nd time). All in all, driving and back forth all day to and from that store and me having to figure out my new phones problem on my own when it’s there job to do so was stressful. Read moreI came into the store to get the Iphone 14 pro max, I had done my research and decided this was the phone I wanted, I liked it better than the 15 pro max in my opinion. When I walked into the store and told the lady what I wanted and asked how to go about it she seemed very confused and just stared at me so I asked can we sit down , she seemed like she did not want my business at all , the entire time she made me feel incompetent . The second time I came back the same lady was there, she went in a co worker ( In which I saw her pointing at me in my car and talking to the employee) then he was sent over to take care of me , the guy she sent over seemed like he didn’t want my business just as much as she did . Not only could they not process a simple upgrade that we started online, but after waiting over an hour I decided to leave my phone in their “capable “ hands to finish. I got my old phone back in non working condition. My number looks to be deleted from my plan and the phone has no data plan. I didn’t notice until the next day since my wi fi was working.
