You've got to be kidding me... these other reviews? Must have gone to a different restaurant. Ordered stuffed shells. Just flavorless cheese slop with sauce. Shells were over cooked and mush. I make these at home and mine aren't made in advance or from a frozen package - theirs is almost certainly one of the two. Another order at our table was standard spaghetti and two meatballs. For an Italian restaurant they sure have absolutely zero concept of "al dente." Spaghetti noodles were just mush overly soft. Meatball flavor was meh, but the texture was definitely pre-made and reheated when needed. Either from frozen or days ago fridge, but NOT fresh because it was like paste when eating. Salad was uninspiring standard garbage iceberg lettuce. Nothing to write home about. Server (who shall rename unnamed) never asked how we liked our meal. Not once. When asked if we wanted any of it boxed up she couldn't pick up on the simple que from us when we said, "no, definitely not." $100 bill for 2 adults, 1 eight year old, and a 13 year old. Expensive lesson. We will not be back. This is our 4th attempt at eating here over 3 years. We're done.
You think I'm being harsh? Want to roll the dice? Go ahead, be my guest. The food is just NOT GOOD. Also really got tired of swatting flies away from our table as we ate. Would really love to see their kitchen, their food storage area, and see what I'm pretty darn sure is prepackaged food, frozen food and food over prepared days in advance. I'm reminded of Gordon Ramsay trying to help an Italian family whip their restaurant into shape. The menu was way way way too large (like here) and they where making meatballs 2-5 days in advance. He scolded them and called them lazy, because making meatballs for dinner service takes literally minutes. This should be done each day.
We're not food snobs, but if I'm going to drop $100 quid on pasta eating out, it needs to be respectable. This place is a pig in lipstick. Dim the lights, put on some Italian old world sounding music and tossing out over cooked pasta. Cha-ching on the EA village people who don't know better. Maybe it's ok for pizza? Wouldn't know, not gonna know because it's likely overpriced and there are way too many other options in the...

Read moreLove this place. Never an off night. Great ambience, professional service, good menu. Love their antipasti. Everything is good. The personal size pizzas on the last page of the menu are awesome. The traditional red Italian sauce and pasta dishes are all good. My 3 year old granddaughter loves their cheesy garlic bread. And for dessert - if you don't get the cannolis- well, I just won't forgive you. Fresh made to order. Crispy fried pasta dough. Light and delicious ricotta stuffing - not pasty or overly sweet like some places. And sprinkled with mini choc chips! Heaven! My granddaughter ate a whole one herself AFTER having ravioli, cheesy garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. Reservations strongly suggested on weekends. They seated our party of 7 immediately on arrival with a 5:30 reservation on a Saturday. Go here. You'll love it. Oh yea and about that professional service - not teenagers as servers. Mature professional servers who understand what it's like to go out to dinner with a hungry 3 year old. Our server brought our cheesy garlic bread expeditiously. And kept checking on my granddaughter ("the little one") every time she came by. Little girl was perfectly content and happy throughout our hour and 1/2 dinner. THAT, my friends, is...
