Babylon Bean Coffee House — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

My dog was getting groomed near by so I stopped in for a cup of coffee and possibly something to eat. It looks like they've expanded the menu since the last time I was here. So I ordered the Italian panini which according to the menu contained grilled chicken, "spiced" ham, prosciutto, mozzarella, and provelone. When the counter girl severed me my panini it had roasted red peppers, well done grilled chicken, a very small amount of provelone cheese and normal sliced ham. I HATE roasted red peppers so I removed them from my sandwich and ate it with no complaints with a pretty good balsamic vinaigrette as well as a decent macaroni salad. When I went to wrap up my other half I stood at the counter with my plate in my hand obviously looking to wrap it and/or complain, THE OWNER completely disregarded me while continuing having a conversation with what looked like was his buddy. Finally the counter girl came over and I explained to her that the menu behind her hanging up for everyone to see was wrong or someone made a mistake and she replied with "oh I don't know why no one told you that. Did you want a box" no sorry or would you like me wrap that for you? The coffee was okay nothing special, I've made a better cup coffee from 7-11 on my own. This place is not “new” customer service friendly. I was asking for dairy free drink items and the barista gave me an attitude. If you are someone that works with the public and a customer is telling you, she/he can not consume dairy, then a person with good customer service should tell you other options. This was not the case! instead, the barista gave me an attitude and was rushing me to order. I spend 5 minutes looking for something. My husband and I should have walked out of this place but we heard it was good and ultimately drinks were average, banana loaf was bland and the service was terrible. Never coming back. This place is like like another food/drink chain store that offers nothing but mediocre food and service ....

If you guys dont want to stay open until the listed time, dont list that time. we came in and ordered a coffee expecting to sit for atleast 1.5-2 hours. We walk in about 645pm on a Monday night. Says they're "open" until 9pm but by 730 literally all the chairs were up and they were turning customers away. It's really passive aggressive and disrespectful and this has happened to me here so many times that I'm just tired of it and I will not be coming back anymore. I've also noticed MULTIPLE other reviews from YEARS AGO with people who have the SAME COMPLAINT!
