I’ve been a customer for over 40 years of this pizzeria. The family that’s been running at the last 25++ years is aware that I’ve been a very very good customer. I will never ever go to this pizzeria ever again. I asked a simple request several days ago. I asked them to make me larger size garlic knots, because I wanted to prepare it for my family lunch with filet mignon that I would be preparing at home. Task became an issue for them because they couldn’t comprehend a simple request. Not only did they come to my house and deliver PLAIN rolls, NOT garlic knots In a larger format to accommodate the lunch at my home today.- Tom whoever he is, a manager hung up on me when I was obviously clearly upset because a simple request with only an hour and a half to spare before my family arrives was not met. Let me also mentioned that Tom is the same individual called me to tell a few days ago to inform me I would have to pay extra money to have the delivery of the garlic knots (that were not garlic knots as I found out today at 11:30 AM today) on Sunday because they would have to ask a driver to come in much sooner in order to deliver at my requested time at 11:30 AM. Can you imagine????!!!!I Now I have to pay for a driver salary to have a driver come in earlier? This is beyond unprofessional and it was certainly not the right thing to ask a very loyal customer of over 40 years to pay for the driver out-of-pocket. Meanwhile, it’s a beautiful Sunday tons of football going on all day today, do you think they would be prepared and have a driver ready to deliver for those afternoon football games or other events that people may have in their homes today. I was threatened after they came back and did a half assed job throwing on cheese and parsley onto the plane rolls, but if I did not pay today, they would take everything back. I suggested that I would come in after work tomorrow to speak to Chris because of this extreme aggravation over a simple task and a simple request for larger size garlic knots. I will no longer ever go to this pizzeria order from this pizzeria or have anything to do with this family ever again. Tom , the manager when I propose I would come in tomorrow after work hung up on me once again. This is poor Business and I feel ashamed for their behavior. Per Tom he said that Chris stated that if I did not pay today, then he will take back the garlic knots that they screwed up anyway so basically he threatened me as opposed to acting in a professional capacity and having a conversation with me tomorrow along with apology that I certainly would deserve after being treated poorly as well as them screwing...
Read moreIn the heart of Babylon Village there is Mulberry Street Pizzeria & Restaurant and it is an important staple in the Village of Babylon. Families, couples, & friends -of all ages gather at Mulberry Street of Babylon for lunch, dinner and sometimes just for a quick meal after happy hour, in between running errands & late night for a snack before going to bed.
Ever since Abe & his family took over this pizzeria & restaurant in Babylon, the pizzeria’s vibe went to a whole new level & has once again become a place that I will frequent as a dedicated client/ customer.
Abe always welcomes me & everyone else who walks in the door with a gracious & kind smile. His employees are always smiling, even though they are super focused on making pizza, and focused on preparing all of the deliveries. *Love that many of the employees who worked there in the past, decided to stay & work with Abe & his family.
The service is great, whether dining in or ordering out, between the pizzeria & the restaurant, everything is fresh & “on point”.
The atmosphere was always nice, but Abe & his family improved this beloved staple in Babylon, both indoors & outdoors.
Mulberry Street has a beautiful & comfortable modern atmosphere and it is a pleasure to dine in or to simply to stop in and place a take out order.
Thank you Abe for taking & interest in Mulberry Street of Babylon & thank you for welcoming me back as a longtime client & as your new client.
Loved the pizza today, the grilled chicken & the...
Read moreI visited your restaurant on Saturday - June 8, 2024with 18 people. YES, 18 people. I work with a special needs organization and visited the restaurant after A Bronx Tale on Saturday afternoon. We have seen many plays at the Argyle and passed your restaurant countless times. My guys have always asked to eat there and I have put it off figuring I had NO CHANCE at getting reservation and/or accommodating all of us at once and/or having it be a 5 hour dining experience.
I WAS WRONG! SO, SO, SO WRONG!!!
I took a chance last week and called to make a reservation. Marcy spoke with me. SO, SO, SOOOO nice. Maura had called during the week to confirm that I still had 18 coming and I said “yes, is that still ok?” I got an ABSOLUTELY!!
The play ended at 4:45pm and it was a 5 minute walk with all my guys there. I went in and Maura was there and said you guys can come on in - I kinda just stood there. I was like “really?” Maura said, yes! Everyone was seated right away! Marcy was our server! My guys had their food ordered and were done eating by 6pm and I just couldn’t believe it! They LOVED, and when I say LOVED - LOVED your restaurant and can NOT wait to come back!
I cannot commend you enough on Maura and Marcy! INCREDIBLE is an understatement and AMAZINGLY PHENOMENAL doesn’t do them justice!
In the 15 years I have worked with my guys - THIS, HANDS DOWN was by far the BEST dining experience EVER!!!
Grateful beyond words!!! Thank you, thank you,...
