Francesco's Restaurant and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

The food was very good. The only critique I have on the food is that the appetizers and 4 out of the 5 entrees that we got needed salt. Which was surprising, because the rolls that they gave out in the bread basket were seasoned perfectly well.

The staff, however ... the staff that we came into contact with was less than friendly, to put it mildly. The waitress literally threw my straw on the table after I told her that my drink was wrong. Anytime that we asked for something (appetizer plates, napkins, ketchup, etc) the request was met with rolled eyes and incredulity each time. Instead of going back into the kitchen to get appetizer plates, she grabbed them from empty tables around us. As she was doling them out, she actually grabbed the top of the bowl that one of us was currently eating salad out of in order to lift it to show that there was a plate underneath the bowl that she could use instead. The waitress kept reaching over members of our party to put things in the center of the table rather than walk the extra few steps to avoid that.

Lastly, when it came time to pay the check, the waitress came over, and before she even grabbed the folder that had the check and the credit card in it, she saw loose money on the table and asked if that was her tip.

I don't even know how to end the review after that, because that was the single most uncouth thing I have ever...

40 dollars for a 1 meal never again the steak was so fatty and not cooked to my liking I asked for rare and got medium steak and I asked for grated cheese we have to charge you a 1.03 for it I got told that there was chesse on my meal not even a single piece of grated cheese you Think that they would throw it in for you but now you gotta pay for it if you want a real Italian place go to Mama Santina’s in Brightwaters Their food is amazing. I couldn’t even eat the food because it wasn’t cooked how I asked for it. So I ordered the Casa Mia with chicken it was amazing and was 30 dollars and gave me grated cheese with it for free a loaf of bread not just 2 pieces of stale bread you guys should be ashamed of yourself so I ended up spending $70 for dinner and the first dish was absolutely horrible But thank you I really appreciate it Never come back to you guys again never recommend anybody to you I’m gonna be telling all my friends and family what you guys did to me oh and by the way, you should not have a little girl behind the counter, trying to take over very...

On 9/13/2024 me and my husband and his friends went to dinner. The food was great but the bar was not. Two patrons decided that they would smoke marijuana and blow it into a crowded bar area. When brought to the waitress attention she blew us off and became confrontational . Her name was Nicole which I only learned because the two patrons that were smoking pot called her by name. This leaves me to believe that they knew her. The bar tender came out she was blonde and we told her what happened and she just patronized us. We decided to leave and they never told the two patrons who continued to smoke pot and tried to engage us in an arguement to leave and stop smoking.
