Imagine being excited to try out a brand new sister Pizzaria location in your home town of Babylon, but not getting the experience as expected. Upon arrival my partner and I sat at the bar but instantly got a not so welcoming approach from Bartender, Alyssa. We ordered a drink as well as a pie of pizza. We then decided to relocate to a table setting to enjoy our meal. We were approached by a waitress that abruptly questioned us for moving and if we had spoken to the hostess. We advised her that we had spoken to Bartender, Alyssa who had approved our request. While sitting at the table enjoying our drink, we kept getting looks from numerous employees, which you can imagine, made us feel very uncomfortable. After about 15 minutes of waiting, a waitress came over asked if we needed anything. We told her we were okay for the time being but followed up to make sure that our relocation was of no issue. The waitress advised that everything was okay. We then advised her that it was an uncountable feeling and did not sit well for either of us, as we were both very excited to explore this new location for the first time. We added that we would not be continuing to stay and would be taking our food to go. We also asked for a manager to speak to on this matter. Manager, Heather, approached my partner and I very hostile. She asked what the situation at hand was and we explained to her in detail. She continuously backed up her employees and her supporting argument was the location being new as well as the employees. She offered us to stay, but how could we if we felt uncomfortable. We were offered to have our bill comp as a way of “fixing the situation” but no accountability was given nor apology. I would have gladly payed for the food. The principle behind what transpired is both the approach and behavior from both staff and management. My advice to the owner as well as staff is to focus on customer experience, accountability, and service recovery if they plan to be successful in the village. I hope that anyone as excited to visit this location, as we were, will not get this type of treatment in the future. (btw the drinks were phenomenal)

I'm from New York, but living in Silicon Valley for the last 50 years. I planned a trip to Long Island for my high school reunion. One of the things I most looked forward to is real New York pizza. People from New York living in California know my pain. Only way to deal with it is to never buy pizza on the West Coast that claims it's like the East Coast unless you go to one specific NY Pizza restaurant in the Bay Area. Otherwise, you stick with Round Table King Arthur Supreme and be appreciative of a good California pizza and wait to go to New York for the real thing. My friend said this place has been open for 6 months, and that it's really, really good. She's 100% correct. I had a very simple cheese pizza with a little bit of olive oil on it, and it was fantastic. My friend and my daughter had the trio pizza, look on the menu to see what that is. Everybody in the place was really nice and when we left, several employee's said goodbye and have a good night. They legitimately seemed happy to be working there. The Bailey's and coffee was really good. The coffee was fresh and the Coca Cola was properly carbonated. We saw good looking desserts on other people's tables, but we were too full to indulge. I have a service dog and they had no issue with the dog coming into the restaurant with me. It was really nice to dine at a place where everybody was positive and upbeat. Kind of rare. We'll definitely make a point of eating there again.

I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at the pizzeria in Babylon, and I can't wait to share how amazing it was! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat, and it was Brandon at the bar who truly made the experience special. Let me start by saying that the Caesar salad was a delightful surprise. Unlike the traditional heavy white dressing, this one had a lighter, more refreshing dressing that perfectly complemented the crisp romaine. It was a refreshing twist that I absolutely loved. Now, the gluten-free vodka pizza—wow! Not only was it delicious, but it also left me feeling satisfied without that heavy, sluggish feeling afterward. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the flavors were spot on. It's a must-try for anyone, gluten-free or not! And if you're in the mood for a cocktail, make sure to ask for Brandon. His Hugo spritz is out of this world. He takes the time to activate the mint, which adds an extra layer of freshness to the drink. It’s easily the best Hugo spritz I’ve ever had. All in all, this pizzeria is a gem, and Brandon is a rockstar behind the bar. All the love, bro—until we meet again!

Worth the Read!: A couple weeks ago I was headed home from 🏈 practice with 2 very hungry teenagers. The time was 9:40-ish pm and to my surprise, I couldn't find a pizzeria open anywhere! I stopped in several places that had just closed up, or was ready to close, and no one looked like they cared at all and regardless, none of them had any pizza left anyway (so they said). When I stopped in the parking lot of The Pizzeria of Babylon, you can tell they had just closed and some of the staff was already walking out (kitchen staff). When the nice man saw that I had 2 hungry boys, instead of saying too bad and that they were closed, he kindly told me, that although he couldn't promise anything, to go in and check to "see if they had any pizza left on top of the ovens.” ... So I go in to see, and you can clearly tell the place was closed with a few servers and staff chatting at the bar. I was met with super friendly people and a young lady that I didn't catch her name. She was so polite and said to hold on and let her see if they had anything for my boys...here's where it goes from good to great...she goes behind the counter, sees what she's got and brings 2 pizza boxes over. 🍕🍕 "Looks like some buffalo, chk bacon ranch, etc...and in the other box there's some plain slices..." I started asking my boys which ones they wanted when she stopped me and said (I'm paraphrasing)..."don't worry about it, you can just take it all...I'm not gonna charge you guys for cold pizza, don't worry about it! I looked at her confused and tried to get her to take money but she refused 🚫💲. She then proceeded to tell me that at the end of everyday, whatever pizza they have leftover, instead of throwing it out, they DONATE it to the hospital 🏥 (or something along those lines). What an exceptional establishment!!! From the kitchen staff 🧑🏽‍🍳-that had no reason to even engage me to begin with-to the beautiful atmosphere inside the restaurant (great ambiance) and to the fact that these folks DONATE food everyday/regularly to very deserving people instead of wasting food, I cannot say enough about my experience with them. By the way...there was about 20 slices of pizza in total, and for the record, it was freaking delicious...even cold...my kids AND all their friends agreed!!! 💯 Thank you, not just for feeding my kids (and several of their friends lol), but for being kind, understanding, selfless people. Your service to your community, and kindness of your staff is what this world needs more of. It was such a beautiful reminder people that there are still so many good people in the world! Keep doing what you do and keep spreading the love... It's contagious and greatly, greatly,...

I ventured into this Babylon pizzeria with moderate expectations, as I frequently explore local Italian establishments in the area. The restaurant's location in town immediately caught my attention with its prominent positioning.

Food 3.5/5 The white pizza, while decent, didn't quite reach exceptional heights, landing at a solid 3/5. The preparation showed care - notably absent was the excessive oil that often plagues white pizzas. The accompanying salad performed slightly better at 3.5/5. A pleasant surprise was the "personal" pizza size, which could easily satisfy two diners. No digestion issues.

Service 4/5 The wait staff demonstrated exemplary attention throughout our visit. Our server maintained a consistent presence, ensuring drinks remained full and checking in appropriately. Their visibility in the dining area made them easily accessible whenever needed.

Ambiance 5/5 The atmosphere truly shines as a highlight. Large windows flood the space with natural light, complementing the modern aesthetic. The centerpiece bar adds character, while comfortable background music creates an inviting environment. The views overlooking Babylon enhance the dining experience significantly.

Cleanliness 4/5 The establishment maintained high cleanliness standards throughout. While the dining areas were spotless, I noticed some inconsistency with kitchen staff headwear - some wore hats while others didn't.

Parking/Accessibility 5/5 The rear parking lot offers ample space with easy access to the restaurant entrance.

Value 5/5 At approximately $40 for two people, the pricing feels quite reasonable. The generous portions, particularly with the personal pizza, deliver excellent value.

Overall 4/5 This pizzeria has secured a spot in my regular rotation. The combination of modern atmosphere, attentive service, and reasonable pricing creates an inviting dining experience. The food, while not revolutionary, is reliably good. I'm particularly intrigued by the various dishes I observed at neighboring tables, which will definitely influence my...
