Me and my family have been doing business with Lily Flanagan’s for several decades now and I’ve had mixed experiences. I have thrown several parties here and they ended up going decently. However, I did come in for dinner last night and my experience was just meh. I felt the staff ranging from the hostess and my server wanted to rush us in and out despite there being a low number of people dining in the place and they treated the person with me alot better than me and left me with sink water from a what appears to be over 20 year old sink rather than giving me fresh water as well, who knows what germs are living in that faucet that they don’t know about/don’t want to make public. I also ordered a lemonade and the server thought she could get away with just squeezing once lemon in a glass of water when I wasn’t looking and be able to call it a lemonade. For over 4$ a glass I expect real lemonade, not some water with lemon flavoring. The nachos were alright however, as I am writing this now in bed I am experiencing horrible acid reflux from either the cheese or something else which is annoying. The burger was ok for $10 but could be better. The person with me also tried one of the fish and wasn’t too too impressed with it. I also want to note that it was very loud in the dining room by the bar for a Monday night so if you don’t like that don’t come here, you can talk a little bit but it was difficult to hear yourself think. But yea the way I was treated by my server since she didn’t know I was an adult was completely wrong and would have me reconsider going out of my way to dine at this establishment. I live almost 20 minutes away so I don’t think I’ll come here anymore unless it’s for a party or if I’m in the area with my family. Please update your place and please train some of your staff to be a little more respectful to the customer as it can hurt your business in the long run. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt since the owners are very humble people and have done a lot to accommodate my family and I over the last few decades, but professionally this place would fall in the 2-3 stars range. Hopefully this place improves by the time I return and maybe they will consider some minor renovations in a few areas by the...
Read moreWe have been here a few times and each time we say we are not coming back. It gives off a "locals" pub/bar for sure. With the new changes we wanted to give the new menu a try. Saturday for dinner we went to Lily's for 6pm. The bar was very busy with people standing behind seated people. As a band was playing. Surprisingly we were sat at a table right away. After a short wait we ordered a soda and a cocktail. Our polite server Cayden returned a few minutes later to inform us the margarita keg was being changed. The drink was good. The dining area was not overly busy. We skipped apps and ordered our meals. Over 45 mins later my husband asked Cayden to check on our meals he returned to inform us of the delay and that the head chef would be bringing them out. Chris the chef came out with our meals, apologized and offered desserts on the house. I ordered the pork chop and my husband ordered the lamb chop. The pork chop was so past overcooked I could not chew it. The lamb was good and tender. A man in a suit jacket stopped by our table to ask how we were enjoying our meals. I informed him my pork chop was very hard and he said good glad to hear it. I think he wasn't actually listening to me. We both ate the lamb chops and gave up the pork chop. We had an E-gift card to use. They do not have any hand held devices to accept e-giftcards so I had to go with Cayden to the computer to process the gc...
Read moreI’ve been a long time and loyal customer, never caused any trouble and always took good care of my bartenders. Since acquiring the new venues and the change of menu, I have noticed some changes in quantity and quality of the food and some of the bartenders have been pouring short. Not to make anything out of it, I went with the flow. Until last week. The pulled pork sandwich was so dry and very little pork at that. After receiving my food, one of the bartenders, asked the obligatory “How is everything?” When I replied honestly, the response was an uncompassionate “sorry! “And then walked away. The next bartender came over to refill my double mixed drink. As he was doing so, also asked, “how is everything?” Of course, I responded the same, and I was “rewarded” with an extremely short tip of the vodka bottle as opposed to a 4 ounce pour. He did it in plain sight as to slap me in the face. I said to him, “Don’t you want me to come back?” His reply, “ I didn’t say that! “. But I knew that’s what he meant. So that’s just what I’m doing. After all these years, I’m not going back. I know these people for a long time! No one made any attempt to...
