Real Fruit Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I wanted to try out this spot as it seemed like it was relatively new in the area (Tanger Outlet Deer Park location) and based on reviews for other locations, looked like people enjoyed the drinks.

They have 3 self serve screens but I believe you can also order with an actual person. I opted to use one of the self serve screens on the wall. The screen is easy to understand, order and check out. You take your receipt and wait for your order number to be called. Prices were typical drink prices.

The spot is located inside Tanger Outlet across from Aldo. Parking is free and plentiful as there's parking along the entire outside of the Outlet but could be more crowded on the weekends. The store itself is very spacious, clean and bright with a few tables.

I ordered a Small Mango Diamond Slush with Grass Jelly (Less Sugar and Less Ice) because I saw a few people recommend that specific drink and I LOVE mango. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the drink. Maybe I got a bad mango because my drink tasted like it had NO sugar which to me was odd because mango is usually sweet! So was there just more ice since I opted for less sugar? There were mango cubes at the bottom of the drink with the grass jelly but even the mango cubes had barely any flavor and no sweetness. The grass jelly was good though. Maybe next time I'll try Regular...

I went to this place around 6:45-6:50 PM to get a mango slush. The cashier was friendly at first and recommended the drink to me. I placed my order and was about to pay in cash when a male staff member said something to her. Suddenly, she told me they don’t accept cash because it was "closing time."

I was honestly shocked—if they were still taking orders, why refuse cash? I even mentioned that I work in the mall, but she still declined my order. This was really disappointing, and the way it was handled felt unprofessional. If they have a policy like this, it should be communicated clearly and consistently, rather than turning away customers at the last minute.

Very bad customer service, the worst I’ve seen in NY. Ordered 6 smoothies using the computer order using the number system. Gave us #41, the operator kept skipping our number giving out orders up to #52. Asked why she kept skipping our order, her response was she’s working alone but kept getting orders. Took us almost an hour to complete our order. The worst wait to get drinks. Never will use this store or any real fruit...
