I’ve always loved Starbucks coffee and have been a regular for years. However, recently I’ve found myself avoiding it altogether because the wait times have become completely unreasonable.
I’ve sat in the drive-through line for 30+ minutes on multiple occasions. As a busy mom of three, I often rely on the drive-through for convenience — but no drive-through should take half an hour. That kind of delay completely defeats the purpose.
Today, I decided to give Starbucks another shot and chose to go inside instead, hoping for a quicker experience. I was with my 3-year-old, and 5-month-old baby. I placed my order at 11:24 AM and didn’t receive my drink until 11:45 AM — a 20-minute wait for one single drink. During that time, my kids were getting antsy, understandably so, and the experience quickly became stressful.
To make matters worse, I paid $10 for my drink, and when I finally got it after waiting 20 minutes, it was disappointing and tasted terrible.
What was most concerning, though, was the lack of staff support. There was only one employee making all the in-store and mobile orders. It also looked like one person was responsible for all the drive-through orders as well. This is a clear management issue — no single employee should be overwhelmed like that, and customers shouldn’t have to wait this long for a single coffee.
With the high volume of customers and overwhelming number of orders, there absolutely needs to be more support. At the very least, there should be two people dedicated to making in-store orders, one for drive-through drinks and a separate person assigned to handle mobile orders. Expecting one person to juggle all of that is unfair to both staff and customers — and it leads to long wait times, poor service, and a bad experience overall.
I truly hope the management at this location takes feedback like this seriously. Your customers are what pay your bills and the way you are treating them is not acceptable. There needs to be better staffing, better organization, and more attention to the customer experience. At this time, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI made a visit over the weekend, First time in a few years. I sat on the drive thru line for about 15 minutes and waited about another 5 or more @ the window. I ordered a frappe and due to the long wait I had a feeling it would began melting before I received as this is not uncommon. Anywho when I received my drink the cup wasn’t full and the consistency was obviously melted. I asked for my drink to be made over and was told “This is how we make it idk what you mean” she took it back and returned within 2 minutes .. same cup a little more full but the drink was still the same. I’m assuming she just poured caramel in it and gave it back to me because this time there was caramel on the outside of the cup. I’m positive my drink was not made over. & due to this inconvenience I think the set up of where your drink is being made should be visible at the window for cases like such. After being disappointed more than once I just left. Also, while I was waiting at the window I saw a very large rat which at first I thought was a guinea pig until I saw the tail which was the same length as the body run from the starbucks store area straight across to the dumpster on the other side of the drive thru. Very distasteful sight, very disappointing visit, very unsatisfactory. For the price of these bevs I expect to at least receive the proper drink with satisfactory and acceptable make and consistency. While I was very respectful however irritated my intelligence was tested with the return of the same latte consistency cup that was given back to me. I do not want an apology, I do not want to further discuss, I wouldn’t visit here again if you guys sold the last coffee beans on earth. If i wanted to wait a while for a melted drink I could have gone to a sit in...
Read moreUsually this place is pretty good. I can't tell you how much money we've spent here personally and through business. Ordered about $50 worth of food and drink. I get to the drive-thru tell them the order name. They asked me if I want a tray for my drinks. I say no but I would like a bag for the food since there's five items. The person then tells me that they will charge me when I get to the window. I asked "so Starbucks charges for bags now?" I met with a short yes. I said no, I'm fine i guess I'll just carry the food. Then they asked me again if I want the bag. I told them no not if I have to pay for it. After a short 10-second pause, I met with another. "So is it a yes or no?" Food for thought, but maybe I'll just consider not using this location or any other location if they're going to charge me $0.10 for a bag after I just dropped 50 bucks at their store. I don't know if the stores under New Management or this is a new procedure but I definitely think it should be looked into. Not to say you always should give into a customer but it's pretty ridiculous not to give them a bag when they order...
