Absolutely terrible customer service. I have been going there for years but they have officially lost a customer after this morning. I placed an order through their app for 9:15, my husband arrived to pick it up at 9:25 and they claimed they āremembered making it but someone had already picked it upā. Ok, understood maybe someone did. Mistakes are made, annoying but it happens.
The way it was handled after was absolutely unacceptable. He was sitting around for 20 minutes waiting for it to be remade. When he finally went to ask about the status, he was told they have to ask to ask the manager if they can remake it???? Which is not what was originally said to him. He at that point didnāt have the time to wait for the manager, so he had to leave. The lack of communication was unappreciated.
I called and got the manager, who was extremely rude and claimed none of this was said (my husband had me on speaker phone so I heard them say verbatim that they remember making it but must have given it away and will have to remake it). And that their policy is they CANNOT remake things and my only option is to call my credit card company.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just ordered from here, the cashier had gloves on, handled my money and then proceeded to make my smoothie without changing her gloves. This is a major violation of food handling safety protocols. Food prep cannot be done with gloves that handled money.
What made it worse was that in the middle of making my smoothie, the person who was waiting on me used the same gloved hands to help the other worker hold a garbage can down. I asked if they were planning on changing gloves after touching the garbage can and this struck them as a completely insane request. I was told that the one who was making my food didn't touch the garbage inside, only the outside of the garbage can, which is probably worse than had she touched the stuff in the can.
They offered to remake my smoothie. The cashier/smoothie maker was told by the other girl to remake my smoothie with new gloves. I didn't see her change the gloves. So I walked out. Even if she would have changed her gloves, there was no way I was going to eat anything from this location if this is how they handle food prep.

I made a mistake by forgetting to request no granola and as the woman was about the bag my acai bowl I realized. I told her I would just purchase a new one but her and her coworker (maybe manager) both decided they'd just make me a new one for no extra charge. It's little things like this that make me want to actually not only leave a review, but leave a good one. I wish I had gotten their names but on the other hand, I don't want them getting into trouble if God forbid they weren't supposed to do this. I'm also very late on this review and leaving it now bc I'm currently on NY way back to this location and promised I'd leave a review bc of the great service!!!...
