My wife and I decided to stop into the Bath Rico's for dinner on Sunday evening 7/26/2020. As we walk in I noticed not one of the employees wearing a mask yet we are required to wear one when we enter and exit the establishment. We order our dinner to dine in and choose to sit at the wooden table. We are sitting there talking when onr of the staff approaches us, again without a mask, and sarcastically states that we can't sit there and we would have to move due to the "6 foot" rule. Mind you we are the ONLY customers in the establishment sitting waiting for our food. There are no signs on any of the tables stating that you can't sit at them because of the Covid restrictions. So we graciously move to another table and continue our conversation. One of the staff, again no mask,, brings out some of our order and we start to eat. Soon the rest of the order comes out and again no mask. My wife went back up to the counter to advise them that we had not gotten our garlic knots. The look on the employees face said that they had forgotten them but instead of admitting that, she stated " oh they are cooking". Now where we were sitting you could see the staff and we watched them make our garlic knots while they made snide comments about it. So after they we done, the same waitress brought out our garlic knots, again with mask and said "here you are and by the way we close in 9 minutes" very rude and sarcastic. Well needless to say we will not be spending any of our money at...
Read moreFirst off, the chubby girl (just for descriptive purposes, not ragging on her weight), with the nose piercings had a very bad attitude. I'm not sure if she was upset at the guy who was working with her, or the fact that a Black man had come into her place of employment, either way, she clearly showed on her face that she wasn't in the mood to deal with me. She only gave me two options for individual slices, when clearly the menu board had more. When she went to put my pizza in the oven to warm it up, she handled it as if it was trash to her, throwing it around. Then, she takes it out of the oven after only one minute, puts it in a box brings it over to me, hands it to me and then she goes to the back. I check it and he pizza is literally still cold. I get her attention and ask her could she please put it back in the oven because it's still cold, she really didn't like this, and her face showed it. I didn't like her attitude, the way she handled my food, that I had already paid for, and lastly, the pizza wasn't even good. The place needs to be revamped, starting with...
Read moreWe drove the 25 miles to bath just to have Pizza at Rico's last night. When we arrived and prepared to order I asked my wife if she would also like some of their "JUMBO" wings. Her reply was, "Not at $9+ for a dozen!" Not being put off by the price, and being sucked in by the "JUMBO" description on the menu, I ordered the wings with our medium pizza and a couple of sodas.
Roughly 20 minutes later, out come what I would only describe as Jumbo pigeon wings, only because the staff was too lazy to remove the 3rd joint from the wing. 12 wings couldn't even cover a 9" paper plate with the wing tips still attached to the flat sections of the wings. I could have gone elsewhere in Bath and ordered a dozen truly Jumbo wings for a bit over $6.
Then, to top off the evening, it took over 25 minutes after the wing came out to get our medium pepperoni pizza!
The food was good, but I will never make a special trip to Rico's again, and certainly will never order their overpriced...
