Everything about this restaurant is excellent! My wife and I had heard a buzz about this spot and we finally got a chance to get there, without the kids.

The decor is very nice, the atmosphere and lighting is perfect, their Bourbon selection is quite vast and the drinks are very good. It had a quaint country feel done perfectly! Shiplap on the back wall, Edison bulbs all over, the wine rack is in a wrought iron rack right next to the hosts position (very cool).

My wife and I ordered the burrata with grilled vegetables as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. The grill marks offered the prefect texture and taste without a charred aftertaste. Well done!

My wife ordered the Long Island clams and linguini except with a marinara sauce in lieu of a white wine sauce. She said it was as good if not better than her favorite Italian restaurants. Ample clams, flavorful sauce and a good amount of linguini.

I ordered the seafood special which was a seafood fra diavolo over linguini. I replaced the linguini with sauteed spinach and it paired with the fish perfectly! Again ample amount of seafood and spinach and extremely flavorful. Only comment is that you better like garlic. Not overly previously but a good amount of sliced garlic in the sauce.

The hospitality, the service and the owner we all quite friendly. Excited to own and operate the restaurant, which was evident in every aspect of dinner.

We can't wait to go back, try the burgers, the shrimp BLT, gnocchi bolognese and do much more.

Only suggestion would be to change the music selection. It was a bit swanky with beats/bass in a that isn't that. Maybe more of a subdued classic country music would...

Such high expectations to only be disappointed from the first step inside. I was immediately turned off by the wait staff, extremely unprofessional-for the first week of being in business i would have imagined a little bit more enthusiasm and maybe put in the extra effort to make you feel welcome and to try and leave a good lasting impression-BUT i guess business is not a priority for them..our waiter didn't bring us menus for at least 10 mins, i had to ask a bus boy for them-he rushed us to order and was just rude the whole time not making it an easy dining experience. I ordered the mushroom burger with 1 or 2 simple changes to it which led to my burger coming out missing the mushrooms (the whole point of ordering that specific burger).. so not only was i annoyed but my bf ate by himself and then once mine was remade i ate by myself. The manager tried to be nice but fell short when he didn't offer to take anything off the bill for the inconvenience and barely apologized. If this was my restaurant i would be sure as hell be trying to please any paying customer who eats there. The food was below average in my opinion, the fries would have been better from a fast food service and you could tell everything was just generic and sitting back in the kitchen for some time. Not impressed what so ever.. i will not be returning to give them a second chance and will make sure i tell those around me not to...

Frequent this place quite a bit, very sad to leave this review. Mussels were great, although we didn’t get a dish for our shells. Meatballs were good. Service was unfriendly and unaware. Started off great, manager came out, set us up & even put the umbrella down for us per our request. Took a turn when the server came over to the table and did not even say hello. She just stood there and asked us if we were ready to order. To which I said hello and then she said hello back. She took our drink order, brought us drinks pretty quickly after that, two beers. When she delivered the beers, we ordered our appetizers. Food came out pretty quickly, no one checked on us after the food came out. Our drinks were empty for a while. The server came out to check on another table looked at our table, saw our drinks were empty, saw we were eating decided not to check on us & make her way back inside. Server then came back out, stood by our table didn’t ask how anything was didn’t offer us another drink. I had to ask if we could have another round. extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the level of service as normally, it’s pretty good here. We’re people who normally get a few rounds each, we would’ve ordered more food, however, due to the infrequency of the service, we decided to leave and get lunch...

Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. Add Farmhouse Tavern to your list and sit at the bar and receive first class hospitality from Nick, a great bartender that never takes his eyes off your glass and provides heaps of hospitality on top. A lovely night out in Katonah!

I came here to dinner with my family on a Saturday night. It wasn’t too busy. We made reservations just in case but there were still plenty of empty tables. The food was standard. We had the fried calamari as an appetizer. I had the scallops and grits which apparently was a new item on their menu. It was actually pretty good. The scallops were soft and well-cooked and the grits were creamy. It came with tomatoes and chorizo as well. I personally don’t like chorizo so I put those to the side but I liked the flavor and sweetness they added to the dish. I think added grilled asparagus would have completed the dish with a crunchy texture, some bitterness, and color. We had the tiramisu (just ok) and the chocolate lava cake (also just ok). The only thing is, I was confused about a chewy piece that wouldn’t break down and when I spat it out, it was some plastic strip. I’m hoping it was the oven lining for the cake. Fingers crossed.

Visited during the re-opening of NY and they had indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and conscious about keeping things clean. I ordered the French onion soup, which was the best I’ve had in a long time. Quite honestly, I’ve been searching for a good place and a good soup and have been disappointed. So, this was a pleasant surprise. Also ordered the calamari for a meal, and it wasn’t the best. It was a little too greasy and not crispy for my taste. However, I did eat most of it because it was okay. The bread was warm, fresh, and delicious. They served it with olive oil, fresh ricotta and tomatoes (?). I wish I could be more accurate but it was very good. My partner had the wings, which had great flavor and texture. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would love to come back.
