I agree that the new ownerâs attitude leaves much to be desired. I live out of town, but look forward to coming here for bagels when Iâm in Farmingville. Went in with a large order which the owner himself took. No problem then. While the cook was frying up an omelette for one sandwich, I asked that he toast the bagel that I requested for the sandwich. All they had to do was put it in the toaster while the egg was cooking, right? No big deal, so I thought, but the owner whipped his head around and asked me if I wanted it toasted now. I replied yes and he turned around and muttered something to the cook. Truth be told I couldnât understand what he said, but noticed a clear attitude from him after that. Still no problem though, because I generally donât let peopleâs âtudes get to me. However, when he rang me up, I noticed that he left off one item from my order. He looked surprised as if I had made the mistake, but I pointed out my order on the sheet that HE had written it on. He then added the item to my order on the cash register and rang me up. He then went to prepare the item he had left off and I saw the attitude again as he cut and buttered the bagel. As he began to box my food I had to remind him that a coffee came with one of my sandwiches. He immediately said, âA small coffee!â I replied, âwhatever, just make it light and sweetâ. He gave me my coffee and I left literally shaking my head about this nut job. When I got outside I realized that he had never given me my receipt so I immediately went back in to get it. You wouldâve thought that I was begging for free food. After much ado and other staff calling him from the back, he reluctantly handed me the receipt. I shoved it in my pocket and again left shaking my head even harder than my first exit. When I got back to my hotel and settled in to eat, I took the receipt out of my pocket. Lo and behold I saw that he had charged me for an extra bagel. The aggravation wasnât worth going back, but lesson to me for not checking my receipt while I was there. Good bagels are the only reason Iâm giving this place1 star. But theyâre not so good that I would give this guy any more of my hard earned money. I will not be patronizing this shop again and I will spread the word about the ownerâs nasty attitude- hence...
Read moreI brought breakfast for the at this bagel place for the first time.. Iâm driving to pick up clients at my job.. Began eating a Turkey, cheese with egg on a roll âŚ. So busy paying attention to the road while driving through traffic, thinking the sandwich is delicious, until I took another bite and tasted something other then the food ..I took a few more bits when I looked to see what I was eating, my eyes almost popped out of my headđ there was a long piece of hair partially hanging from the other side of the sandwich . When I explained to Jen that I was hungry and could not stop for another breakfast and that I was driving all the way to Smithtown and could not drive back at that particular time. I was asked if I wanted them to make another sandwich đ˛ .. I just found a piece of LONG HAIR hanging.. I took back the sandwich which was on my break and had to drive from Smithtown all the way to Farmingville.. I showed Jen and I kid you not she acted as if she could care less..She stated âitâs not my hair I have dark hairâ. I asked her if the cooks hair is put in a ponytail while cooking ⌠Jen stated, yesâ. Then stated, It was probably on the roll and that the rolls were made some where else. I asked her if they check their rolls. She was speechless . But the odd thing is the person cooking the food had the exact color hair.. IT WAS THE COOKS HAIR! Someone else I showed a video of the hair hanging stated she went in there earlier and will never eat there again⌠I understand things happen.. but they acted as they DID NOT CAREđŻI tried to add the video to recorded of the sandwich⌠but it would not upload! UNBELIEVABLE !! I posted this review because of the lack of...

I now ask for an egg bagel toasted with butter and bacon n egg with a coffee light and sweet , I also picked up a oj . I proceeded to open the coffee and it needed more sugar and I told the wife and she ignored me , he gives me the bagel all wrapped up and something told me to open it Thank God I did . First , the bagel itself was cold and not toasted and where's the butter I asked for at ? I told him and he looked at me quite questionable and said toasted ? butter ? Yes , that's what I asked for đ you toast it , then you place the butter and the egg and bacon last I checked . So , now he takes out the filling slabs on the butter and then places the filling back in then microwaves it đ Wait for it ....... Now he ask me if I'm sure if I want that extra sugar in my â.
