I give one star considering I been waiting over 2 weeks for a reimbursement of a order they messed up that I picked up on my lunch break for me and some coworkers that work at a emergency hospital, and I called to let them know they didn’t one make the chimichanga as stated online as well as the adjustments I made with the up charges due to the changes and called how it was completely wrong down to not even having ingredients that it says it’s supposed to have… they continued to argue with me put me on hold and told me to come back with the food that was incorrect and they will take it and then they will give me a new one that is right? I told them how I worked in emergency hospital and I used my one break and there would be no way I could come back let alone how unsanitary it is to take back something that was just touching my hands. Also said there was “ new chefs on” coming up with excuses after excuses. The man said come back or there’s nothing he can do bc they do not delivery. I told him to return funds back to my card after 35 minutes. Never returned funds to my card and let alone this is the 100th time me n my cowkers ordered from here let this be the last with how appalled we where by the customer services we received with the money we pay for food let alone for it to be correct and or to at least match the ingredients it said online . Moral of the story go to chicos down the...
Read moreThis is legit the best burrito/taco spot on the island. I was referred to this by my white friend so I obviously came with low expectations because what is a white dude going to know about a good burrito? Turns out he knows a lot because these burritos will have you questioning your entire existence. My first time around I ordered the Al Pastor burrito and sat down. They bring you out chips and like 5 difference sauces which are all banging & the burrito melts in your mouth with every bite being perfectly even. It’ll knock your socks off.
My second time around I couldn’t stop thinking about this place so I took my family out to the Aquarium in Riverhead in just so I can stop by here on our way home. I have a newborn, do you know how difficult it was to get everyone coming from Nassau County to the aquarium and then make a pit stop at taco island?! The quesobirria burrito was worth every tear that my daughter shed because she didn’t want to be in the car anymore.
Also, since these guys can’t seem to miss I tried their wings. Crispy, saucey, INCREDIBLE.
If the owner is reading this me and my boys would like to open up a Taco Island in Nassau. Don’t be mean and make us drive out to Farmingville all of the time, there’s only so many aquarium trips a...
Read moreWould love to have tried the food truck at event where we were but they closed it early. I’m was performing in the band & asked if I could get SOMETHING before they go & they just said ‘no sorry’. Not a good time…won’t be stopping there any time soon lol
Yes it is sad that I only understood that there was a food truck, and halfway through the event I was in DIRE need of food & can only assume you’d be there longer, but obviously wasn’t informed by anyone there. The real sad thing here is that I nicely asked you if I can grab something, that I was in the band and you said ‘No, Sorry.’ and left…as a business owner I would NEVER have said no, I would have served a person (especially a worker) and then left. But those are decisions that we make sometimes. And because of that decision I can only say that I will not be trying your tacos probably ever. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know about this experience. Let them decide if they want to give you their business or not. Good luck to you! P.S. May I also ask which one of the 2 contradictory things you said are true?? Did you have other ‘commitments to deliver’ or were you asked to leave by four?? It can’t be both of those now can it 🤔…(insert...
