DELIVERY DRIVERS DO NOT BUY THEIR RED BAGS. DO NOT MAKE THEM ROB YOU FOR 10 DOLLARS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If nasty and disrespectful were a business it would be this place. Donât eat from here , there food is subpar and their customer service is disgusting. Iâm a big believer in that what ever we put into our bodies feeds our soul. It can affect it in a negative way or positive way. The music we listen to, the food we eat , the things we listen to. It all feeds our soul. LI wings and things has such bad customer service and rude employees that I will never again eat from here. I donât want to put anything in my body that was prepared by such nasty disrespectful people.
I gave them a chance twice and twice I was disappointed by soggy chicken that taste like rubber. And god forbid you complain. They treat customers and delivery drivers horrible. I work part time for door dash and I had not received my red insulated bag yet as door dash doesnât send it out immediately. (LI Wings knows this). So here is how they steal money. I walk in the store to pick up the order for door dash , the thief at the counter told me that due to the fact that I didnât have a red bag yet I had to purchase one of THEIR red bags for $10 or else they wouldnât give me the food to deliver . She couldnât even say it with a straight face when she told me that. She knew what she was wrong for what she was doing. I was running low on cash and I tried to explain that I hadnât gotten my red bag yet. I had to go through the trouble of contacting door dash to explain this to them , not to mention the gas money I wasted to drive to this place to pick up the food, They didnât try to hear it , they bring out a cheap red bag with their restaurant name and logo on it which they claim is insulated ,and to put insult to thievery they bring out cold food to put in the bag. I bursted out laughing once I saw it. A delivery doesnât take long once you pick up the order. Food is supposed to be served hot. Those Insulated bags are cheap and flimsy anyway. Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever at Long Island Wings and Things, specifically the Farmingville location. Enticed by the promise of a 20% first-timer discount, because the Setauket location was closed, I journeyed to the location only to be slapped with a bewildering policy that the discount can't be stacked. Both discounts were offered by the staff over the phone, so I would try out their location. I get there, and they said they canât combine the discounts they offered. Whatâs worse? They messed up my order of over 50 wings, resulting in additional wait time on top of my already considerable drive. To add insult to injury, when I requested extra dipping sauce, I was informed of an additional chargeâutterly nickel-and-diming. The staff's inability to make simple decisions without phoning some absent overseer was frustrating. Their approach to customer service is sorely lacking, as is their ability to fulfill basic orders correctly.
