Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Moe's as a whole is good. I really like this place The service is excellent and the food is fresh. The General Manager Iveth is very nice and very friendly. She always has a smile on her face and is very pleasant. She has served me quite a few times and has helped me with the Moe's app and she is always the same. She is very patient. Yesterday I just so happened to find out she was the GM when I went to a man that I thought was the manager because I wanted to let him know that she was an excellent worker. Just so happened he was the regional manager and told me that she was the GM. She was back there working as hard as anyone but with a smile. She is an asset to this location and especially to Moe's period.

Update: I wish I could write another review but I can only edit or add to my original review. On June 8th I went right back to Moe's in Centereach and This time I interacted with a couple of more of the staff. Miguel who is the assistant manager served me. You would never know he was a manger because he works fast and hard just like everyone else. I didn't know he was the assistant manger until I told the manage Ibeth that he very helpful and patient while I decided my order. He was very friendly I appreciate that. Then there was Ibeth who was in the back cooking. Huge smile on her face when she came out. She is always a pleasure. The cashier was a young man named Brandon and he was friendly as well. He patiently explained some things to me that I asked about. He made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Yes I was. Pleasant young man. There were 3 others there that have helped me in the past and I have to say they are ALL very professional, kind and patient. I dont really leave many reviews but since I am reviewing the other 3, I have to say thank you to Elizabeth, Mari and Ingrid as well. They all work just as hard as the next person. I had been to this location in Centereach about a year ago and has a poor experience. I ordered from the menu on the wall and the price I was rung up for was not the price on the wall menu. I brought it to the associates attention and I was told, “ It’s an old menu with old pricing and the pricing had changed”. I said the price on the wall is what I should be charged and I had them change it. So when a Local Flavor deal came up for $10 for $20 worth of food at this location, I bought it and figured I would give them a second chance. Mind you I had purchased this Local Flavor before for the Patchogue location and did not have a problem. I went with my husband and daughter on a Monday ( which I had done previously at the Patchogue location) and was told after ordering our food that we could not use the Local Flavor deal because there was a “Monday burrito” promotion. It existed in Patchogue when I went and they allowed the use of the the Local Flavor deal. Aggravated I paid the $23.00 for our food and asked why I was charged for queso dip since it is “Free Queso” day through Oct 4th. She said because it was “Monday Burrito” promotion day I had to pay for the queso. THEN we sat down to eat and there were many mini gnats flying around our food and our table. We could not sit anywhere else due to COVID restrictions as those seats were taken and the back door was open near one empty table but it smelled like the garbage dumpster. Very rude staff. Always have a problem everytime I go there. Not only are they rude they also skimp out when you ask for extra cheese or double meat. I ordered a bowl(12 oz) of queso once and they only filled it half way... what happened tonight put me over the edge. I ordered off of door dash, a stack and a cup of queso. When the driver dropped it off I was missing the cup of queso. So the driver offered to drive me there for free, making him lose money and for a pointless trip that could have been avoided if the workers cared about there job. When I walk in I speak to a guy with the name tag “Ivy’s” on it and I tell him what I am missing. In the rudest voice possible he says “ok... I don’t care”. And I say are you kidding me dude and he reply’s with again “yea I don’t care”. Another lady working there had to come over and help me get my missing product that I paid for!!! Not even a sorry for wasting me and the drivers time. Plus my food was cold by time I got back. Never again will I go to this...
