I ordered a cake for father’s day from this shop. Initially I was slightly turned off by the lack of timeliness with their communication but decided to place an order regardless because they came highly recommended and were pleasant when my email request was eventually answered (after I sent a follow up email a few days later.) I placed my order and was told to pick up between 10a-5p on father’s day. I get to the shop around 3:30p just to find their doors locked. I called twice, no answer. I emailed, no answer. I waited a few minutes, thought maybe they were out to lunch or short bathroom break. I checked their instagram and see their story post about their store hours being only from 10-3* PM for that Sunday. Not only was this misunderstanding extremely upsetting for obvious reasons, but what made it worse was the audacity this company had to post a story claiming they were “stood up” by a customer (me) and that they had a last minute cake available for anyone who could come down in 10 minutes. Now, the proper way I believe this should have been handled would have been to contact the customer who ordered the cake to confirm they are still coming. She clearly had the time, but decided to play victim on social media instead. Who orders a cake for a special occasion only to “stand” the bakery up? Had the owner reached out to me, they would have realized it was a misunderstanding they created when they emailed me the wrong hours for the day. It’s been 3 days since this incident happened and I have yet to receive a response from them regarding the situation. Not an email or a DM. These cakes must sell themselves if this is how their customer service usually is. I don’t care how good at your job you are, if you don’t provide great customer service you don’t deserve...

Read moreThe establishment is very clean and the staff is pleasant. I wanted a basic beautiful looking cake for my Moms 70th Birthday. I didnt care about the taste just something that looked nice. I saw the pictures of the building and menu items on the website and thought it would be fine to order from as eveything appeared clean and in order. The cake I ordered looked exactly like it did in the picture and the staff would not take no for an answer as I told them I can carry it to my car by myself. Like i stated i didnt need the best tasting cake as family always complains about how this place by us does this and that so I said to myself I cant go wrong with a cake that looks good. However the cake was wonderful not a complaint from family about it being to sweet or the fruit not tasting proper or the cream not being mixed enough. You could taste the quality ingredients in the cake as you ate it. I will go back and do recommend. The prices are more...
