Went the other week to grab some bags of ice, as I’ve done it before at others Wendy’s.
I went in and asked for the 5 bags and the guy behind the counter, who was pretty high out of his mind, stared at me like I had 2 heads. I had to tell him 3 times what i wanted and then he asked his manager who said you get bags of ice when you purchase food.
So I got food and said I wanted the 5 bags of ice and he nodded. Didn’t charge me for them, so i assumed it had changed and you just needed a food purchase to get them.
So I waited, i was given my food and he started to wander off and i asked about the bags of ice and he just looked at me so confused. He then handed 5 empty ice bags and told me have a good day.
I had to stop him and say I need the ice too. He looked so confused. Eventually a woman came by and started bagging ice then some other random guy came over and asked if i purchased them.
I told him i was told they came with a purchase of food and he began arguing with me about hoe that was wrong. I pointed to the stoned kid and the guy who told him about it and I was told oh well thats the manager so i cant do anything.
The fact they have someone stoned out of his mind at the register, a manager who doesn’t know his own pricing and then a random othet employee telling me something completely different is insane. If you work somewhete, it’s not hard to learn your stores pricing.
I told him to return the food and drink I purchased, as that was obviously a lie to just get me to buy something. They did the return looking annoyed and when I asked for a receipt for the return to make sure i had it, the guy sighed annoyed at me.

We paid for bacon on a double cheese burger and another double burger baconator and another burger only 1 of 3 burgers have bacon when 2 should 🤷♀️ we’re not close by and the other sandwiches food was right but spent extra $4 + for nothing. Waste.
None of 3 burgers looks at all like baconator which was my husbands who drove to get the food for kids for graduation this is what they picked.
So yeah thanks for messing things up. I know it’s 4 pm but I could call drive back not worth it.
Lesson learned go across the street for a better burger less money and they never mess it up.
I debated posting photos but I’ll be nice. Just check your orders we won’t be coming back again. The only reason we went was one of the two kids wanted Wendy’s as it’s been years. They forgot part of the order before in past too…....
