Our family really enjoys Escape Rooms. We have gone to over 20 of them. We have been to ones in big cities like Chicago, NYC and Pittsburgh. There are some that are well designed and decorated but lack in the innovation side, others have great puzzles but no personality or are designed generically. BUT the EscapeZone in Miller Place is one of the BEST designed with interesting puzzles and surprises. We did the Heroes Room (based on Marvel heroes) and then stayed for a second room and played the Villians room. We loved them both. As a Marvel fan family we were impressed with everything about these rooms. I am not going to say anymore because I donât want to give anything away. I will say that the Villianâs Room is a more challenging room but both were fun to complete.
We have completed other Escape Rooms at EscapeZone in Nesconset (same owner by the way) and those rooms are equally impressive. And the cool thing they have that we try and do each time if we can and there are other rooms available, is a âstay and playâ. So if after your first room is over you can stay and do a second room at a discounted price. So try and plan your visit to leave time for that option if you can. It is a really fun thing for a family (or group of friends) to do.

Read moreEscape Zone does it again! They do not fail to impress! After conquering most of Escape Zone St. James, my family made the trip to Miller Place and succeeded in three experiences in one day! But here is why Escape Zone really is my favorite. The attention to detail in the art (super impressive), immersion (no giant "not in game" signs or such), and production value, are all exceptional. It's not linear. As a family of 5, with different skillsets, we enjoy when one person can be working a maze, another doing a jigsaw puzzle, someone else decoding a rebus, etc, all at the same time. Unlimited Clues, but never spoon feeding. Some rooms say "3 clues max, unless you leave a review/have a coupon/pay real money". Escape Zone gives unlimited clues, but the clues aren't "Ok, the answer to that combo lock is 9876" (or whatever). Megan and Ray, who were our game masters, gave clues (ONLY when we asked saying "I think we're stuck") like "You're not going to be able to open that box unless you look at the [character name], first." That was...
Read moreMe and my group came down on 3/17/23 as a last minute decision because weâve been on an escape room kick the last month. We have done 4 at the St. James location and this was our first time at Miller place. Both locations are amazing and your staff is just absolutely perfect! Iâm terrible with names but the girl who helped us was fun and enthusiastic. Also there was a guy who helped us. He also worked at the St. James location. He is always super cool and helpful. You got a lot of fantastic people working there. They make every experience fun and exciting with their enthusiasm and theyâre fun to talk to. Weâre already talking about our next one weâre going to do. We canât wait for ghostface!
We just finished ghost face. Maddy was a pleasure. We have done 6 rooms between the Miller place and st. James location. Ghostface is your best one yet. We wound up sticking around and doing the yeti one. Which was fantastic as well. We always have a great time with all of your staff they are all truly amazing. Keep up...
