On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the Buffalo Southwest Chicken Bowl with ranch dressing. On the positive side, the warm purple rice, black beans, and corn on the bottom of the bottom of the bowl were good. However, the small firm cubes of chicken we're covered with a bland buffalo sauce, and the ranch dressing added little flavor to the dish. The halved cherry tomatoes were mixed, some were ripe with a slight sweetness but most were hard and underripe. I couldn't figure out why the dish included green salsa. It didn't seem to pair with any component of the bowl. Overall, the meal was only okay. My wife ordered a build-your-own salad bowl with tofu as the protein and two dressings. After finishing our meal, we went back to look over the assembly line and noted that the steak look pretty good. If we return, we'll order that.

Loved the Core in N. Syracuse. Was very excited when Core opened closer to my home. This restaurant has been unable to live up to that the one in N. Syracuse. Love healthy, fresh options. Decided to give it another try. $30.00 for 2 salads. Open them up and both salads had brown lettuce. Tried to call so I can at least let the manager know so they can work on correcting the problem. No answer. I would love to be able to go here more often, but it's definitely like night and day from N. Syracuse.

I adore CoreLife and visit the N. Syracuse location frequently. Unfortunately, my experience with the food from this location did not meet my expectations. The avocado was unappetizing, the purple rice lacked its distinct color, and the chicken was supposed to be buffalo-style. I was refunded after contacting the restaurant, but I was let down by my CoreLife experience.

First let me start by saying I am a HUGE supporter of CORE and been a fan since First let me start by saying I am a HUGE supporter of CORE and been a fan since the original. I have frequented many of their locations but I have to say that I have been a little disappointed with the Fairmount location. I started a new job closest to this one and twice I have ordered ahead for a pick up as well as once for delivery and each time when I got back to work I found that the order was wrong. The previous order had the incorrect protein (steak instead of chicken, although the receipt on the bag said chicken) but because I like both I just went with it. The delivery was missing my beverage. Today I ordered the Mediterranean bowl and albeit packed well and very delicious it had zero hummus on it. Therefore with nothing to balance out the spices in the falafel is was something I definitely had to drink quite a bit of water with! Again the receipt on the bag is correct and marked. Unfortunately I guess I will just have to take the extra time to order in person going forward with this location. original. I frequent this location multiple times a week. The Buffalo Southwest Chicken bowl is my go-to and is amazing every time. I've tried a few other bowls here and they were okay. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are usually on-point. Out of the many many times I've been here in-person there have only been a handful of screwups and they were caught + corrected before I left. I'm a big guy and am easily filled up by half a large bowl (essentially 2 meals for the price of one) without the need for any sides. The price of a regular bowl is too high and isn't worth it. A large bowl, which costs marginally more than a regular bowl, and side from here is roughly $12-$16 total. Chipotle and Moe's are nearly double the cost for an equivalent meal that is less filling. That being said, the price really can't be beat as far as eating out goes. I'm not sure that the price complaints in some of the other reviews I've read are actually justified.

Update: The issues I was having with online ordering / pickup appear to have been resolved. As such, I've...

I came to this place twice, and each time, the staff was rude and have attude towards me when ordering. The portion size is very small, and I had to keep asking for them to please put more. The second t8me I was here, one of the girls was so rude o asked for the manager. By the way, when I asked for her name, she would not give it to me. When speaking to the manager, this girl kept cutting me off while I was striving to explain to the manager the problem. The manager Jim allowed her to keep being rude to me, and I asked him if he was going to correct her? He then tells me he doesn't see her being rude, maybe a little bit, but not how I'm making it out to be. I told him I would be calling corporate because I see by the reviews this is a on going thing with the staff and small portion size. Jim asked me to be patient with him and that he would speak to the staff when he got a chance. He then asked me to order what I wanted because he would make it for me. Jim did make my food correct, and the food was good, but I'm not coming back to this...
