Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

I ordered for a work party for about 10 people. My attempted online order was declined by user error from entering incorrect payment information. I was then given the request to call the restaurant and call the order in. This was inconvenient, but was not the worst part of my ordering experience today.

I was told that the order would be ready when I arrived. After a 15 minute drive, the order was less than half ready. When we arrived, a middle aged female worker told me that we can't order this big of an order there again on Friday during lunch time. She was visibly upset at me and I felt this was extremely poor customer service for what I expect from Five Guys I will certainly not be doing business of any kind with this location again.

I would not have been so disappointed if I were turned away from the order being too large to complete upon my call to the restaurant. I have done this kind of order from the Amherst Walden Galleria location without any kind of problem.

I am an Uber Eats driver and my experience with this Five Guys location last night was the last straw for me. After driving seven miles, I arrived and was told that the order had been given to another driver an hour before! Then why on earth did they put out a delivery request after it had already been picked up?? This is the SECOND TIME this has happened at this particular Five Guys. I had to drive all the way back, on top of all the miles I’d already driven. These restaurants don’t understand that Uber drivers get a very low base pay from Uber, and so we have to plan very carefully the orders we select and the time and miles it will take us to deliver, otherwise we won’t make a living wage. When we are inconvenienced like this, it throws off our work day and puts us severely behind schedule. I’m simply disgusted by how unprofessional this location is. Accidents happen, but not...

Fantastic burgers, fries and my favorite place for a chocolate milkshake! The burgers are fresh and not like typical fast food burgers. Not greasy or mealy, just right. Fries are fresh & never taste like the grease needed to be changed a week ago. Employees have been super friendly everytime I've been there. Prices are avg, but so worth every penny.

Update. Been there several times since my review. And although they're still very good, I revised to 4 stars because the burger I ordered the past 2 times was soaked with burger grease. I ate there the 1st time & noticed it but figured it was a 1 time thing. The 2nd time I brought it home, less than 3 miles away & as we opened the wrapper the bun discinagrated due to being soaked in grease. I threw the bun away & just ate the burger. Fries were still excellent though. Probably should have returned it but didn't feel like...
