First time ever leaving a poor review for a department store. Shopping at this Losson Target and customer service desk was extremely rude.
I was shopping in the store and passed by the gift cards. I was planning on going to the Apple Store after for a gift card but Target had them also which I didnāt realize. So I picked out a $100 gift card and saw 2 signs above the cards stating āBuy $100 or more in Apple gift cards and get a FREE $10 Target cardā I cashed out and didnāt receive the $10 free card. The cashier said she didnāt know why and said to ask customer service. I went over to them and showed the customer rep Anna my receipt for the apple gift card and according to the signhanging above the card I should receive a$10 free card. Anna didnāt know so she called her team lead Surray. Anna walked away on her walkie talkie, so I could not hear her to speak to Surray, then came back and smuggle said ā her team lead said she canāt do anything for meā Iām like what?? Then Anna said ātake a picture of the sign.ā So I walked back over to the gift cards and took a picture. When I returned to cust svc there was a line. 10 minutes later I spoke to Anna again as she was the only person working. I showed her the picture of the offer and Anna replied āsince Surray said she canāt help me she couldnāt do anything for meā Again What? Anna decided to called Surray up front and I showed her the picture of the sign and my receipt. As Surray walked away to look at the sign on the gift card wall, I asked Anna to speak to a store manager. This has gone to complete aggravation over a $10 gift card. Anna told me that Surray was the manager. And I said you called her your team lead. A team lead is not the manager. Anna again smuggled said ā we have EPIās.ā I asked to speak to them and Anna replied āno one was in the store at this timeā. Really? So I asked for their name and Anna replied we have 4. I took down their names and stated I was going to file a complaint with their corporate office. And said I took down her name also and will include this in my complaint. Anna replayed ā you said that 2 timesā Well good so I am and also adding a poor review google too!
In the mean time Surray returned with the signs stating a free gift card and said the offer expired 8/28 and this was 9/5. That she would honor it. After over 1/2 hour going back and forth with these 2 girls they decide to honor their store offer.All this aggravation for a stupid $10. Never again. The aisle are loaded with freight needing to be stocked on shelfās. Menās department was barricaded with boxes and empty pallets. I couldnāt even maneuver around to get into the menās department. )Talk about an accident just waiting to happen).
The store shelfās are empty, I get that the products to fill the shelves are stacked in the aisles, but what a disappointment to see the decline in what once was a company whoās Brand of value and pride once shined. Store conditions are poor, and to be honest I felt embarrassed.
Nothing and do mean nothing in the store is recovered. Kidās and women departments have clothing all over the floor- not one table of clothing has been folded. What is going with the management, how is this acceptable?
I picked up a few items needed for upcoming Easter holiday. When I got to the check out- again two employees working and self checkout with only 3 working registers, customers complaining how disorganized and the lack of staff and the time customers been waiting to check out. I pushed my cart to a closed register and left.
Target what is happening to the standers? Where did your customer service go? When did poor store conditions become your Brand Standers!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying that I like target as a whole. I enjoy their selection of products, the stores are usually clean and i have never had a problem with rude staff. Although, my last visit to this location was a mess! I was looking for boots for my son. He grew out of his and we still have enough cold months ahead to warrant another boot purchase. Because we have passed the heart of winter many of the boots were on clearance. I couldn't decide between two pairs of boots. So I got them both and would return 1 of the pairs after bringing them home to my son. One of the boots I chose had a clearance sticker for around $8. The other was full price, at about $30. I got a few other items but when I cashed out I was surprised at my total of around $145!! I didn't think the total made sense at the time but target is one of those places that I tend to purchase more than I initially intended, so I thought it was just me. But a few days later, I was on my way back to target to return the less desirable boots and I noticed that I was charged twice for the $30 boots. If that wasn't bad enough, the boots that had the clearance sticker were also rung up as $29!!! I was so furious! At this point the tags had already been taken off the clearance boots and thrown away. They did refund the $60 for the double charged boots but I wonder how many times this happens. I didnt always check my receipts. But now I definitely will!!!...
