Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

I recently stopped by for the first time in a while (used to patronize it all the time but scheduling/life changed) and memories flooded back why this place is so great! I am impressed by the customer service, I don't feel rushed when I place an order, and the staff is extremely helpful when it comes to my naivete of items. The portions are absolutely gigantic, the regular burrito literally feeds me for days. As for the perpetual debate of "who has the best chips" I think Salsarita's wins hands down, I love the seasoning and freshness. And going back to customer service, like I really can't say enough about the staff, they are so friendly, and the management seems genuinely appreciative of your business and satisfaction, which means a lot when you are overwhelmed by endless choices of restaurants. why go somewhere where the reception is cold when you can go...

Very nice atmosphere, as it almost feels like you’re in Mexico! If you didn’t already know, this place is like Subway, where you go up to the person managing the food, and you tell him/her what you want. They put the food together in front of you. The burrito I got was good, and I recommend it. If you don’t like spicy foods, then do NOT ask for the salsa- some people say that even the mild is too much for them! (I personally like spice and heat, but whatever you prefer.) The best part about this place is the chips! If you don’t get the chips, then you haven’t lived through the full experience! Their queso goes well with them, too. The chip portions are big, and the crunchy flaky nachos will scream with delight in your mouth. Stopped on union yesterday for chips n queso for a quick snack omw to work. When I walked in the girl was sweeping then proceeded to put the broom down, scoop my chips, oan she hadta reach IN the chip bin to get the scooper...NO GLOVES, NO SANITIZER, NOTHING BUT BROOMSTICK DIRT N DUST all over every chip in that bin!...I walked right tf out! NEVERRRRR goin to salsaritas again! She was courteous but it was overshadowed by her being about to give me dirty chips n cheese.People nasty af...turned me off to takeout for a while...ik we take our chances when eating out but actually SEEING the nastiness...
